Judging from synopsis alone, we got a fake friend here who either took advantage or manipulated situations to have MC owe her OR the simple petty jealous because guy I like ain't interested of me
Spoiler: MC Astin Seymour, the "villain" of novel because her father and brothers blamed her for her mother's death. Cousin of the heroine, Princess Amaryllis aka Lily. When she was younger she used to cry in her room all day and not move due to the treatment of her father since once noble young girls would push the blame on her for everything since her family will always blame Astin, no matter what she says against it. She regained her memories of the novel she was around 10 years old which was also when she awakened as a wizard. Has brown hair and green eyes which she shares with the heroine and her dead mother. Spoiler: Heroine Brought by the Duke of Seymour on Astin's 13th birthday cause she looks like the deceased Duchess, she was the one who helped protect Astin from the worst of her families abuse and noble society. She stood up against the Duke when he came to yell at Astin when the young noble girls put blame on to her again which was also the day Lily became angry. After that incident she never left her side which gave Astin the safety and happiness she always wanted. Has always protected Astin from all sort of criticism and only Astin can freely can her Lily to her face after she regain back her status. Officially the King and Queen's lost daughter. Only one to know that Astin came from another world and that she is a wizard. Spoiler: Running Away The running away from her abusive home comes rather quickly as by chapter 4 she already left. The main reason Astin left is the fact she can feel safe on the fact that Lily has meet her real family and the ML which means that Lily's safety and happiness are "secured" in her opinion as she believes she doesn't belong in Lily's "happy ending". She wrote Lily a letter to not look for her and that she has found a way home to her real life.She runs away to the magic tower before her coming of age birthday as she believes the Duke would marry her to someone to throw her out. Spoiler: Magic Wizards gain they're magic type depending on what they intensely desire ie.if a person was getting burned and they wanted to stop the fire they would be a fire wizard, so many would go struggle since many died through it. Astin is as very rare kind of wizard in which her magic type is Space because of her intense desire to go home, she also believes it's what caused her to come into this one so she hopes to go home after learning more about it. I think that the main reason Lily will turn away Astin simply because at the moment they are codependent on each other too much as they think of each other as their world to an unhealthy degree as Lily even styles her hair to match Astins and Astin was willing to give up the world for as long as Lily was happy. Astin also has the common signs of having depression as in she would stay in her room and not move, when she was younger she would cry all day. Her father didn't physically abuse her but they mentally and emotionally did as they did nothing when she gets falsely accused by other people and only paid attention to Lily. She has two brothers and so far it's been shown that at least one of them does physically abuse her as they went as far to pull back her hair.
I want to know what happens to he trashy family..... like ughhhh I hope they get heavenly Karma for being such assholes. So far I have been reading the mtl but honestly the heroine being nice. and all i appreciate that but got a little annoyed. Spoiler The Crown Prince is suspicious as f.. Plus in the latest translated chapter the mc drank poison in hopes to really leave that world. She was thinking of all the people she met there and still wonder about Lily she even mention having familiar feelings for that trashy family. I know she is depressed and her dependency over the Heroine is big to the point of wanting her to be happy and totally ignoring herself. I wish she just said f the plot and decide to live life girl you have magic travel the world f the novel characters I may reflect my feelings on that spoiler but I really pity the MC i just hope she stars to think and love herself more.
Im curious about the outcome of it. I think she was smart though,if I were a wizard I woul ran away to work with it as soon as I am of age.(I know she wants to leave but anyway)
