I thought about what if none of these wars took place, and the Dragon war that Riftan lead to victory was the last war ever? Will Riftan and Maxi live a happily after life? I have a lot of doubts though... They can't open up and see through each other without all the friction. Maxi will probably live the rest of her life in guilt for "pretending to be a lady loved by her father" and Riftan will only spoil her endlessly without deepening their relationship.
