I copied elitists and thought that a romance where the female lead takes the initiative was always better.
Instead of the usual cliche male lead chases female lead first..
I use to think that until I read The Beginning After The End and you had a 15 year old girl "taking the initiative" with a 40 year old man.

Turns out cliches are not so bad afterall

But a 40 year old man taking the initiative with a 15 year old girl wouldn't be any better, would it...? :sweating_profusely:

I think it would be refreshing to have a romance where a male main character falls in love first and works hard to woo the female lead. Seems like it's been a long time since I read something other than immediate mutual love (but it takes a while for them to date) or the love interest trying hard to get the protagonist to notice she loves him while he does a soliloquy on how unpopular he is.

Aside from hentai, but that's slightly different.
