Technically speaking, this can be a way of cheating if you're playing "Blindfolded" (usually this means sitting with your back to the chessboard)... Though well, a mirror would make it a bit too obvious.

The best way to do this kind of cheating would be if there was a nearby window instead, since it would be more inconspicuous~
... That said, I have no idea why you'd seriously try to cheat in blindfolded chess... It's like... Playing with a handicap and then removing your own handicap... Why?
