I heard that it was the chinese audiences who complained the loudest, though someone may correct me on that one.
It's a work of fiction. It's stupid to get pissed off over it. But they made a big enough deal over it to ruin it for everyone else. I bet Chinese authors write stuff about Chinese people killing other people and no-one soils their pants over it. People kill people from other countries - it's what happens in war.
It's just a means to an end. They got butthurt over some insignificant backstory in the book and went on a fishing expedition to justify their censorship attempt. Sure he's at fault for posting stupid shit on twitter, but this whole big overreaction just deprives innocent readers of a story they might enjoy for unrelated reasons.
...Well enough of that, before I derail the thread... It looks like it's still being actively translated... Is there anyone who has read ahead that can tell me if the story ahead is worthwhile of if it just ends on a horrible cliff...
This is the wrong forum for spoilers. But why would you care about chapter 400 spoilers if the translation is at around chapter 150? xD
I don't need spoilers. I just want to know if there is good plot ahead and if it was abandoned at a bad spot.
It was abandoned in the middle of a new arc afaik, so I will likely stop the translation before starting that arc to give it a semi-proper ending. But you have a few good arcs waiting for you before that. Enough to read for a few years to come yet. ^_^
https://www.novelupdates.com/series/nidome-no-jinsei-wo-isekai-de/ Couldn't find a thread for this novel. Slightly different but still typical isekai. OP mc with no interest in the women around him. Giliel's side stories remind me of the old Brown Hornet skits. We rejoin our heroine after her super angelic powers naturally allowed her to escape. Spoiler: speculation I suspect it will turn out the demon king is Emil's older sibling. Also being the main reason she wanted out of demon territory. edit: Ah. one did exist. Wonder why it didn't come up in search. Dragonoids are in for some common sense wrecking.
ch174 and Maou is ruthless. Anyone else think it might be Emil's sibling since the side chapter pointed out the gender not revealed maou had a younger, but more successful sibling?
up to Ch 181 now. Is it just me, or did Shion get a look because she keeps proving herself smarter than the Draconoid commander?
Enough context clues tell me that the maou is Emil's sibling, and he probably has a spot on the castle walls with her name on it. Which is why she went hiding at Renya's. Not confirmed, yet.
Which hero? The summoned human hero, the beastkin hero, the elf hero, or the dragonkin hero? Spoiler The summoned human hero was eaten by the armor made by Frau. Then turned into the new human hero by Emil
Speculation. The Giliel looking black haired twintail little girl that was fishing is a fragment of the goddess. A very tiny part of the goddess appeared during the fight/arrest of the beastkin admin, then hasn't been seen since. I think this was her since Giliel is still busy cleaning up the mess in the divine realm.
So many candidates for demon lord now. The current demon lord that the demon god brute force powered up. Renya who acts the part more than the true demon lord. Frau who acts the part better than the true demon lord. And I suspect Emil is the younger sister of the current demon lord. Was probably meant to be the current generation maou before older sibling was suddenly boosted up.
Informed that there is a massive barrier up and the continents are collapsing. My first thought would be the two are connected. Not the first story where a massive spell is draining the energy of the world itself. Also Kuro, it's the latest chapter discussion. If you haven't read the latest chapter, expect spoilers
lol the manga ended at c49. not sure at which point it is in the novel tho. edit: welp we'll never get the ending for the novel anyway so I'll just stop at the manga and not bother with the novel.
