The title of this thread should be changed to :

I don't want a wait a week to get free chapters.

I find it laughable that the person accusing others of greed cannot see their own.

From what I know, Premium chapters are equivalent to Patreon chapters.
With Premium you can read the entire novel most of the time.
While there are weekly free releases.
So it is not a paywall per se since you still get it for free just slower.

I find this community laughable.

It was either a "pure" fan translator release one chapter every three months of FFF Class Trash Hero

Or "Greedy" Active Translations release 20 plus free chapters per month with even more for Premium readers for the same novel.

Ah, going back through some novels and LCD i must admit i confused Active Translation with Centinni which is now named Nocturne or something? The reason it came to mind was the 'The protagonists are murdered by me' LCD. Where the translation was so horrible that 'a hunter with 15 years of experience is trash?' was instead translated as 'a 15 year old hunter is a dog?'.

So the quality on the site would've greatly varied depending on the novel, ranging from 6/10 to 8/10. I personally read Regressor Instruction Manual on there and it's pretty solid for the most part.

I sincerely apologize for mentally comparing Active with Centinni which was worse than MTL.

If Active is so shit then offer an alternative.
Let us not pretend that this thread is all about constructive criticism.
Actually contribute to the community, they are people who use their little understanding of the language to start their own website.
You have tools like Memsource(Personal version is free)
Others hire translators, crowdfund etc.
Instead of spreading hate, offer solutions.

My problem with Active Translation is that they don't show the price of their chapters. I would have bought a few chapters otherwise, I even setup an account. But only way to see the prices at the time I did this for the novel I wanted to read was to put money on the account. If it was too expensive for me I would have then been out of luck I guess. So out of luck was Active Translation as I moved on to other novels instead.

I might note that some other big sites like Wuxia World also have crazy prices for early reading, even if it's for a month at a time.

 

All the chapters (before the new system) were worth 5-7 points.
You could have asked in the discord. (I can't blame you) It's active's fault on this one

Never heard of them, never bothered with them.

Instead, you should read novels at Americanfaux. That sight doesn’t believe in paywalls and has a lot of quality translated novels to offer.
