I mean I like it. Though I see it as a way for a favorite ship or couple pairing to have a child. I also see it as a way for world building and orginal ideas. bit I don’t like everything about it can be come toxic and violent at times
I can't tick multiple options so I didn't join the poll. Personally, though, it doesn't make sense but it's a fast lane to getting hot and heavy so... yeah, I'd take it even though it gets gross sometimes when I think about it too deeply.
I’m new to the whole web novel so I’m still reading some. But here are my manwha and manga favs… How to chase an alpha Megumi and Tsugumi Kiraide Isasete (I highly recommend this one) An omega bus stop Same about thinking about deeply
It's weird but I like it Maybe because I tend to avoid things that have abuse (especially if it's a mental abuse) so I think it's tolerable
mix of funny and okish feel~ you know like how fantasy is fun~ for this cat fantasy is fun not because you can beat a dragon but because of you can fight a dragon!
makes my skin crawl so I avoid the novels and usually skip those worlds in QW/QT I avoid mpreg in general because it makes no sense to me, but omegaverse in particular is too inflexible and the fact that they are all ruled by pheromones and can't move outside the constraints of a gender assigned at birth gives me the creeps. omega's in particular usually have no choices and once they are marked by a alpha they can't leave even if their partner is the worst kind of abusive scum.
One thing that surprises me in the omegaverse is how they still hold alphas on a pedestal instead of demonizing them kinda how people do in the real world with men. I don’t know it just seems weird. I’m also wondering how sports are divided.
Omegaverse is okay for me, I don't actively avoid it, but it's not like I take the initiative to find them. The addition of pheromones and A/B/O shenanigans makes the dynamic between the main characters more interesting when handled well but the discrimination repulses me. Sexual harassment and forcing others are also pretty common... Especially towards Omegas, sometimes they are portrayed as having on human rights at all. Basically, I enjoy ABO but only when it's peaceful and the discrimination ain't too bad. I like it a bit fluffier. Something like This Omega is Sweet and Wild
I'm fine with it but I'm particularly picky. If the relationship between the leads are not okay and healthy then its a no no for me. But I guess that counts for all romance novels that I read, regardless if its ABO/Omegaverse or not.
When I found out about it, I was in mass confusion. Then I just said 'meh' and accepted that it was a weird thing that existed.
At first, it feels weird especially to the lightsabers in omegaverse GL lol. But eventually, getting used to it since it is a fiction. Though i never read omegaverse BL before, instead it's GL. There's something I really recommended in terms of Omegaverse GL, title: Best Friends. It's a manhwa.
I am fine with it, however i only really read it as an Arc as those tend to be a bit milder. I do like the ones where the MC break down the stereotypes and isn't forced, very rare in my opinion. I think it has the same feel as those stories with guides which i personally prefer. Not sure if they are considered the same or different. Anyway, that's my view on it
