https://ichigostrawberryblog.wordpress.com/page/2/ I found this. It's a translated novel. I think the translator also posts spoilers here in this thread.
Hey guys, just created an account just to comment on this forum. Just wanted to rant about the whole MC, Carl, and Emel thing. 1. Sadly we have to acknowledge that our MC is just stupidly OP and above humans. No one will be her equal other than her brother and father as well as a mage/wizard or something. Everyone else is human and sadly not as powerful. She will have to bear the brunt of being a protector which I think is a pretty cool position for a woman in comparison to other manhwas or mangas. (Often women are protected and not the protector) 2. Carl is her brother guys. I have a brother that is 4 years older than me. I don't even want to humor the thought of being shipped with him . I would jump off a 100 story building that's nasty my dudes. Spoiler: Emel 3. Emel is stupid, I will say. He constantly tries the "I'm a stoic man" trope by "doing the hard thing" and sacrificing himself to protect the one he loves. And I completely think that is 100% dumb and illogical. Everyone agrees he should have said something to Estelle. He started useless drama. But I really believe that he has a right in being pathetic, and he is rightfully mentally unwell. I mean this dude at age 13 saw his entire troop get slaughtered and then the monsters started eating the soldiers one by one. The whole time he was in pain unable to move thinking, I wonder when I'll be next to be eaten. After he survived, saved by the Castiellos, his father was like, "yeah you should've died a soldiers death instead of coming back." Afterwards he falls for Estelle and then the dragon who wipes out the soldiers gives everyone a hallucination filled with nightmares. And Emel and Ain both see Estelle dead. That is his worst nightmare. Fast forwarding to the fake engagement, he gets poisoned and is in bed resting. Then wakes up to fake Estelle (AKA Iris) trying to take Estelle's place. After torturing her to find out where the real Estelle is he rushes off in a panic to the river that Iris dropped the temporarily dead Estelle body. There he finds golden hair sticking out of a rolled rug at the bank of a river, full serial killer style. He slowly unrolls it seeing her pale stiff body, and my dudes her eyes are cloudy and open. Like full dead person style. And he tries mouth to mouth, all he can taste is awful river water and she's completely cold and stiff. He is internally screaming and calling Estelle's name over and over. His worst nightmare came true, that's traumatic. She comes back to life before he kills himself luckily. I think it's awful that he develops a drinking problem and does stupid things. But he just really needs to see a therapist, like its sad.
I hope you can answer these @Ichigoisstrawberry . 1. How the Emil and a Duke know that it was a fake Estelle? 2. Who’s the father of Iris demon child? I wonder if she did things with either father or son and placed magic on the child. Or had another man father it then put devil magic on it. @kazz @indopanda I read a comment somewhere that production of this manhwa has been stopped. Meaning it’s not on hiatus. It has been axed.
This is a verey cute manga and novel I just want to read more and more but it just stuck now hope for new chapters
Where is the spoiler part when the princess transformed to MC? I'm a bit lost why she did it and what happens next. Thank you (just saw the latest chapter and Daddy was strangling the impostor)
Thanks for the spoiler. So, I wasn't really disappointed at Emel's first leave. I could still understand him, but not about this one. Seriously, engagement with Iris? Even though it's fake and done for Castiellos' sake, but still.... Jesus! Is there really not a single way to find that cursed thing? But, well, if the author says so.....
I have a question, I see Iris is pregnant. 1. While engage with Iris, Did Emel has sexual intercourse with Iris? If he dosen't... 2. Did Emel know that child is not his?
Spoiler: Why they deslike our ml so unfortunately he is so old compared to our FL he raised her/watched her grow so like they do have the right to hate but sometimes I feel they did ship something similar to this one
Im considering reading this story in the future?so I wanted to ask what is everybody's problem with the male lead. (You can pour all your frustration in this reply,Im really curious about how someone can be so disliked XD)
@luliibunny They just don't like that he's the ML for certain reasons like the age difference when they are only 6 years apart and also the fact that he knew her since she was 12 but they don't understand that Emel was 18 and didn't have any at first. feelings for Estelle was only her knight and as time passed they became best friends they also forget that she has three other knights so they took turns escorting her and Emel was always the closest to her. Emel begins to feel things for her when Estelle is already 17 years old, even he tried to prevent that, however he ended up falling in love so he decided to go to take the position of marquess that corresponded to him to have an acceptable position for society and be with Estelle now that it would be frowned upon for a gentleman to be with his lady and Emel was not going to exceed that limit because he respects her, but he never confessed his feelings to her and what he was going to do when he left the Castielo mansion because he could die in Trying to regain his position but actually I love it, also I read the novel and I managed to understand all his actions, he is a very human protagonist, we are really more familiar with seeing male protagonists who are almost perfect in everything and who have a cold personality. Emel really loves Estelle very much. To the point of giving up his happiness with her and giving her his life to protect her, many hated the decision he made to commit to Iris with the aim of finding the stone of promise and breaking it in order to free the Castielo family from that hell of To obey the imperial family you have to reason this because it was the most correct and foolish decision at the same time on his part and the reason is that if we think in detail they would have liked Estelle, Carl or Duke Castielo to have suffered in trying to look for the stone of promise and the price to pay was to die. Well in the end Emel and Estelle are happy and they have two children, a girl and a boy. Emel is an excellent father and husband ❤ he adores his little ones and Estelle treats her like a queen even brings her breakfast in bed they also bathe together when they are already married Estelle is the naughtiest of them two this is about the story extras and the end of this story is bittersweet, Estelle asks Emel what she would do if she died first (something to highlight in the story is Emel's fear of losing her). He answered that he would create many stories with hers, her children and then go to meet her, it is sad but at the same time great that he already accepts that it is more likely to lose her first and hers, her children, are another beautiful blessing. to continue living, So you can read it if you like without getting carried away by the bad comments I did not do it and I really liked it.
@luliibunny You're welcome, I really don't understand people because there are couples who even take thousands of years and adore them that confirms to me that there are very hypocritical people. I just enjoy stories separating reality from fantasy. If you have the opportunity to read the novel of this story, I recommend it to you, it is better and they explain things clearly Emel is one of the most hated, however, for very few people who read the novel from beginning to end, he is actually a good protagonist in it. I include myself with having read the novel I managed to understand it in addition to the fact that this story has a depth, it is dark as well as it is logical so you must think and analyze every detail however the only bad thing about Emel is that he is weak-minded due to his low self-esteem because he never had anyone to lean on Estelle always was and will be his charming light of life but over time it became love ❤ and believe me I have come across thousands of disgusted comments that he is the ML but Emel HE NEVER HAD FEELINGS FOR HER UNTIL HE WAS 17 YEARS OLD AT A START, IT WAS ONLY HIS GENTLEMAN.In short, Emel is an incredible father and husband, one of the best compared to many because some are good husbands but not fathers and other good fathers but not husbands. Sometimes I feel very sad when I come across hateful comments to the story when they don't even fully know what the story really is about. @Stupid little liar 1. No Emel ever had that kind of relationship with Iris, they didn't even share a room. 2. Emel knew perfectly that that child was not his since his stomach swelled out of nowhere without any explanation, even Emel quotes Estelle to tell her that that baby was not his and that is when Estelle's spirits tell her that they had perceived something weird in Iris's stomach. In reality the baby was created by black magic with the aim that the Castielo would no longer be needed bringing a new class of Asmodians.
