Than why don’t MC never redo their homes on alter worlds? I mean if you go to another world. Why wouldn’t you create a comfortable space to live in? Does anyone know of any novel where they brought over modern ideas. Like kitchen islands or a pass through between the kitchen and the dining room. Things like that. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Spoiler: Spoiler for recent chapters Alyssa already built an airship (blimp) with personal accommodations, and now has a treehouse (much more literal) that she built with modern-ish facilities, just more magically attuned and closer to natural as it’s literally a house made of a tree.

You know I completely understand the drive to make a toilet, but dudes! That’s it? It’s even easier to build a pizza oven. I mean if an 18th century Swiss Family Robinson can create running water for a sink. I’m pretty sure a 21 century person can do better. Just saying. It’s not brain surgery. I just don’t understand. Why? Why? Why? Do they stop there. Sure I see many advancements in food, but not to their home. I mean come on. Who hasn’t wish they could redecorate their home right now. A new tv or a new couch at least. It just blows my mind
