what are ur fav things to pass time by on the airplane? im going on some trips soon so i want some suggestions. i usually watch movies or shows but there hasnt been any that ive been wanting to watch recently. i also like to read a book. (book and movie recommendations are welcome as well ^^)
I sleep. Like... a lot. I probably sleep 70% of the time inside the airplane. Depending on the flight duration, I only have time to settle down, nap, have the inflight meals, nap again and then wake up to freshen up before landing. During longer flights, I usually go with old tv series or any random blockbuster movie I haven't seen yet. Mostly things I can still doze off in the middle without missing much. I'll usually have one book, a planner and a small sketchbook to pass time in the airport. Sometimes I'll pack a small envelope with tiny origami paper too.
I’m just going to say it. I mean I’m a guy and we’ll I’m a GUY! I mean. Of course you shouldn’t do it. But it’s a mans dream. To deny it. Will make me less of a man. I don’t want to be rude… But.. .. .. .. The Mile High Club… Don’t hurt me. My inner perverted self screamed it out. I’m sorry… I’ll go sit in the corner
I love reading! I recommend The Prince by Machiavelli, A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara. I also come up with scenarios I know that would never happen in real life. And also, watching the movies on the flight is one of my favorites. I remember catching Frozen on our trip to Hawaii~ Safe trip!
So your a fan of “The Prince”. Interesting choice of reading. What may I ask lead you to that book. If you don’t mind me asking? To be honest it is one of my favorite stories also. It is one of the few novels out their that explain intrigue so well and human reaction.
The reason isn't that great, haha. I was reading a CN webnovel about this businesswoman who was unparalleled in the industry. She quotes a sentence from the book, and I was pleasantly impressed. In my hopes to become a businesswoman like her, I picked up that book. And it was truly awe inspiring.
There are very few books that stand the test of time. This is one such novel. A novel written centuries ago and yet relevant even today. I can not praise this book anymore higher because I unfortunately any words I could use. Would not do it justice. All I’ll say it’s a book worth reading
Watch movies! I rarely sleep on airplanes like maybe a hour for a 16-18 hour plane ride . I usually just search for a movie that sounds good or rewatch good ones that I really love . If it’s a plane ride that doesn’t have a mini tv with it . I usually write a book mentally . Like I wrote a book but I usually don’t actually write it down on a paper . Looking outside the window is nice .
