Not going to check the translations themselves though, of course... I may as well put my time into translating if I do quality checks.
On technicality... In payment is reliable.. $3 a day really isn't that bad for regular editing (the type where you just go in and revamp, not suggestions), depending on length.

Ehh... I mean, it'd depend on the time, no? My last editor spent about ~10 minutes per 1k word chapter and was paid $2 per.
Though... that poster was saying $3 for a minimum of 3 chapters, so... eh >.>

If it was just asking for proofreading I'd be willing (if I were interested in the novel), but they seemed to be asking for the whole translating + editing deal and I kinda doubt that the chapters were any less than 3k words from people's reactions.

 

I thought it was $1 per chapter for just editing... And that is why I said depending on the length and type/style of editing. For me, the opportunity cost is okay since I would be reading/tsukkomi-ing other things as an alternative anyway.

-tilts- I'm dubious how many of the replyers had actually contacted for the opening.

I'm not sure how many people would contact them for the opening after OP clearly stated all their intentions/payment plans in the original post... before deleting them so we can't see them now /shrug

The last influence... precog... I did was successful as far as I'm concerned~

Anyways, I can influence them when I'm on, but I will just set up a form that should be filled out to make the process easier (i.e. get rid of the 24 hour long exchange we have every time trying to get the teleport link).
Please fill out the following when requesting an influence from Lissi specifically (literally 5 seconds):

1. Do you need me to do the teleport, or will you provide the teleport link?
   1. If YES: [Please insert the link]
   2. If NO: I will insert the two-way trade link next time I'm on.

If you're willing to work with this new format (i.e. giving all the requested info in the first post- when you first request for an influence- instead of just posting the egg and no other info), I can influence them!

Otherwise, when help is requested when the egg is only ~24 hours from hatching, and: it's way past midnight and I am about to fall asleep or I'm golfing or something and am not online (because I am not gonna be online even close to every waking hour, unfortunately), and then you aren't active 24/7 either (so you aren't online when I am), those 24 hours will probably just be wasted on asking, "do you need a teleport link and which kind" and then the influence won't go through (because time runs out) and I will be blamed... which I would prefer not to happen, thank you very much.

If you're unwilling, uh... I can do it but 0 guarantees because of timezones and activity and stuff. Don't blame me when it's not successful, I won't accept the blame!

And there's always decora and everyone else too, if you want the formless option, and I'm pretty sure the Dragon Cave forums have a thread for influence requests, though I'm not sure how fast/successfully your requests will be fulfilled there, as I've never used that service.
