The characters around him also look and act in a somewhat believable way instead of always following standard cliches. Overall, they're funny; like the elf girl who's actually 60 years old but behaves like a spoiled teenager and exhibits rebellous teen like behavior(for example dyeing her hair and becoming like a 'gyaru').
