Sometimes~ I prefer regular baseball (?) caps myself. Less delicate, and if I accidentally sit on it, I won't crush it lol
I also find straw hats kinda itchy sometimes
My mom has a hat like that, though!

It probably also depends on the region you live. I live in middle Europe (Germany) and I basically never see anyone wearing one. Our climate is milder, but we had some really hot periods the last three years. But I don't run around outside that much, when it's that hot. Maybe some wear it then?
Personaly, I dislike hats. It's only a base cap that seldom has the honor to rest on top of my head. And that means at most 5 times a year.

 

Yes, when I worked markets and the staff was standing out in the sun all day, you bet we invested in those. Even the guys bought sun hats.

 

i only really see older ladies wearing them, or maybe if someone is at the beach. but yes there are girls that wear them.

i personally prefer baseball caps, i just think they’re cuter and i just think those types of hats are a little too old lady for me.

I bought several like the one above. But do I wear them a lot? Nope, even if my house is near the beaches and my the land I'm stepping on is practically surrounded by beaches. In these five years alone, I only wore it once, lol. Too lazy and I somehow keep forgetting to bring them
