Now lets not get bloody in here. Not all harems novel are the same and I have read some where there is certain friction between the lovers, or others where their objectives clash. In the series Gold, Girls and Glory by Hondo Jinx two haremates come from different tribes that tryed to exterminate each other in the past they pretty much carry that grudge to the present time.
You should not state facts here lol Like 1% of the harem noveld are actually good and they have some decent progress in character development?
Long time no see. I don't recall the last time we chatted but your posts are as fun as I thought. I recommend Man Comes To Tang Dynasty. The female leads get drowned in Vinegar haha Stay safe and God bless
True bro, how the hell does the main chick not get pissed at the mc bringing home 10 girls with the same personality as her lmao
You want a realistic harem with some cat fight? Here you are... https://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-flower-stealing-master/
While I agree with the statement that there are many crappy Harem novels. But I can't deny that there are some really good ones. It's a matter of taste.
The main problem with Harem is the wish-fulfilling aspect, and sometimes the novels don't even get that right. I know there are target audience and age issues, but come on, what's the point of having a harem if the MC is a wuss and won't even touch the girls? Sexual tension can only take a novel so far, and the clichés of "kyaa, ecchi!" and "if it's you, you can see my pantsu" are so overdone... Not that seinen harem with full body action are much better, it seems like a shallow trope overall, but at least the fulfillment part of this wish-fulfillment trope gets done with.
not every month just once a while~ well harem is pretty popular stuff on term too many story have it element~
While I wouldn't exactly want catfights between the harem members, I would like at least a decent amount of resistance to the idea at first. In "I Have a Mansion in the Post-apocalyptic World" for example, gets close to what I consider an actual introduction. First, she thinks she is the only one who the mc likes, Then, she finds out that the mc has another girl, which sets in a period of confusion and almost breaks the connection, Then, she decides to 'fight for the mc' (directly says this to the other girl) Then, she eventually gives in It sounds like just a bit better than token resistance, though that is really the highest resistance I've seen so far in a novel that really isn't about the harem aspect.
