No Incentive to Watch the Olympics

I never had an incentive. I'm just not big on sports.

I don't see the extreme hype or interest about sports...it's all meh to me. It's great and all but people seem to get a bit too riled up over something inconsequentially...insignificant. Also could care less about the whole country pride thing

It's entertaining though, anticipating where our next bronze or, god willing, silver (we usually dare not hope for gold) is going to come from. And hoping it's not the last one.

I hope this post comes back to bite me in the ass. Face-slapping, anyone?

Well, we got it after a gap of 13 years.

I still wonder how good Dhyan Chand was as a hockey player, to be able to receive continuously three gold medals at Olympics '28,'32, and '36.

Awesome! And I got the news from WhatsApp. Gotta watch that throw rn.

On a side note, seeing all these athletes coming from rural backgrounds, representing not only their country but also their roots, makes me happy in a soothing way.

Can't even begin to imagine their struggles but I can already see at least two movies getting made out of this Olympics in the future.
