I like me some fairy tail fantasy. Like cinderella and the frog prince. There's always a rule to the magic. There's also the fallout universe, mad max, and star wars, and star trek, and star leap, and star gate, and battle star galactica.
I also love (non-twisted) fairy tale fantasy! With wizardry, sorcery or magic guilds and stuff! Nothing steampunk or mecha tho…
Fairy tales are my wonderful. I especially like fantasy genre in a Western setting. I love Lost in Space series by the way.
I'll honestly read anything fantasy, but historical settings are always fun, especially for darker stories. I do love fluffy fairy tales though
Since you mentioned fairy tales, I suppose my favourite would be "Little match girl" As for fiction in general, I am usually into system based ones, psychic and super power based ones
I love reading stories set in the modern world. I know there are a lot of them but it's my favourite setting. Complete with the proper technology like internet and stuff. (Not sci-fi just regular modern day society)
Historical fantasy. Dystopian. Post-apo and eco-fiction. Especially, a Mushishi kind of setting mood. Love that manga.
Zombie apocalypse is my absolute favorite setting. Second best would be any other apocalypse with monsters and survival.
