recently i was reading tsuki ga michibiku (manga ver), then it suddenly struck me 'there's not much thing i can remember'. 1. which chap Makoto/his companion showing off their power against the heroes. (in novel) 2. against the goverment or guild. (in novel) 3. against demon king. (in novel) can anyone give me some help? thx.

First time with a hero would probably be when Tomoe went to study the lake created in the Sofia fight, and she ran into Tomoki. Government would be Mio helping Limia with their recovery efforts, which should be after the visit with the Demon King, at their old capital.
Those scenes weren't exactly face-slaps though~ At least they didn't feel like face-slaps to me... Ah, except for one when Makato face-slapped the male hero. Let's see... Here!
Tell me a good JP style face slapping that can rivals Chinese ones then.... Everything is so mild there..not including *those* kinds that can be pronounced with one letter.

Spoiler: Spoiler he didn't go as far as killing nine generation or being arrogant like young master CN MC, but Makoto gave quite a beating to the male hero who was acting arrogant and told makoto give tomoe to him. As for the devil king, it was just a friendly spar which ended in a mess and accidentally pulled Makoto in Demon Kingdom internal conflict
IMO Chinese novel always overdone it though. True Japanese styled their mc as passive mostly, but people with a bit of rational thinking would also do that i guess. One of the main reason i stopped reading chinese novels is because they always tries to show how calm and rational their mc, then suddenly become ruthless, then calm and good guy again, which for me is not consistent and as if its not the same person.
