Born as the Princess of War, touted as the Greatest Mage, her name was Leticiel.

She lost her family and partner to the neighboring kingdom’s invasion. In order to prevent her power from falling into enemy hands, Leticiel took her own life… or that was what was supposed to happen. Instead, she woke up to see an unfamiliar ceiling.

After gathering information, Leticiel realized she had somehow transmigrated into another person living a thousand years after.

To make things worse, she was a talentless lady who was shunned by her acquaintances, family, and even her fiancee.

There were many issues she wanted to complain about, but when she witnessed the magecraft of the world from a thousand years after… “Magecraft Maniac” Leticiel was livid at its lameness.

“The magecraft level in this world is too looooow!!!”

The tale of an eccentric Royal Highness blasting open her path in life using the strongest magecraft, begins!

Here are spoilers based on the manga up to chapter 5:

Leticiel was the princess of a kingdom that was fairly peaceful, but had a neighboring kingdom that was starting trouble. Prior to the big war, a young man named Nao appeared. He was isekai'd and while it's not expressly stated, it seems clear from his name and other clues that he was from Japan. He came with no buffs or cheats other than his knowledge of modern Japan/earth and had to learn the language. He also was unable to use any magic, so this was more or less made up for by the fact that he came up with a lot of great ideas that revolutionized their way of life. This is likely what brought added attention to them. In any case, Nao and Leticiel fell in love and were married but both were killed during an attack on their kingdom. The king of the warring kingdom wanted both of them alive, but Nao was stabbed by a poisoned spear and decided to fight until the poison took him or he was struck down. Leticiel killed herself in order to stay out of enemy hands, but only after pretty much all of her people died to protect her (their choice) and it was clear that she had no way to escape.

She wakes up in another body, that of Drossel. Leticiel was panicky at first, but eventually realized that she'd been reincarnated somehow. She also quickly realizes that Drossel isn't well liked, as both her parents and her younger sister hate her. The servants are also afraid of her, but not without reason as she apparently throws fits and gets angry quite easily. The reason for this is later made apparent, as is the reason why they still take care of her. It's at home that Leticiel learns that commoners can't use magic, something that baffles her. She decides to keep her magic a secret for now.

Leticiel decides to go to school so she can learn about the land and its history, correctly guessing that this is the same continent/world as in her last life. She discovers that approximately 1000 years have passed since she died and that there's no record of her kingdom anywhere, let alone of herself. While she was trying to find the library she learns that her schoolmates are terrified of her and Leticiel gains aid from a guy who looks identical to Nao. She loses control of her magic, which surprises Nao2 since he'd heard that she was incapable of using magic. Which, btw, is the reason why her family seems to hate her: she can't use magic, so she's seen as useless.

Realizing that there's not going to be much luck finding info on her kingdom without help and that she'd have to wait for the scholar who could possibly help her, Leticiel goes to the magic range to practice her magic. It's here that she more or less realizes why her family dynamics are the way that they are: her magic power is zero and she's the fiance to the crown prince... who of course has the mutual hots for her sister. The CP hates Leticiel, of course, and thinks that she's mistreating her sister. The sister seems to be your typical white lotus and is out to undermine her sister. This implies that this is an additional reason for her sister hating her and by extension, her parents, as they likely believe that sister is the better bride candidate.

Leticiel learns that the magic in the world has gotten really terrible. Instead of relying on mana, which is everywhere and plentiful, magic power/quality is instead judged based on the amount of magic power that the individual holds within them. (This in turn implies that Nao may have had a large amount of magic power inside of him, he may have just not been able to access it.) The downfall of relying on individual magic power (IDP) is that the process of accessing it is very inefficient and the end result is far more weak than it really should be. Leticiel connects with a low IDP baron's daughter, showing her magecraft (different from the magic IDP uses) and reveals that in order to use mana the lower your IDP is, the better. Leticiel, of course, has 0 IDP overall.

Something happens in the magic range that brings up a weird magic beast? of sorts. She goes in and defeats it, but not before picking up on a few of OGDrossel's memories/feelings. It's implied that her actions/behavior was a way of gaining attention and that she's really, REALLY unhappy with how everything is set up with her family. Leticiel also learns that something/someone has been waiting for her and that her revival has set something in motion, but not exactly what. It's related to the past kingdom/life, but that's about it. It may be related to the king that wanted her and Nao.

Since she can't get anything else out of the beast/monster, Leticia defeats it very easily... and in front of everyone else, including her sister and CP. The chapter ends with someone outside that notes that Leticia has returned.

Other notes about the plot so far is that Nao2 looks to possibly be a reincarnation of the original Nao, as he seemed to react to the name. He's also into Leticia, but his teacher/master warns him to stay away from her since she has a fiance. Leticia has a butler that apparently seems to be devoted to her, but not much is told about him so far. He may be an ally or possible second male lead, or he may be an enemy.

On a side note, I'm reading the translated chapters to see if there's more context and I love the drawing that the translator inserted into the first chapter!

Another note: the basic gist of the story is more or less the same with the novel translations, but it looks like they greatly changed it for the manga adaptation. I kind of like the novel more, so here's hoping that someone picks it up for an official translation.

So following after the person with Chapter 5 spoilers.

Nao seems to be alive and is the villain of this 'arc.' I'll explain why in the following summary.

    (Chapter 6)
After the events of the monster/breast/creature, a sound of the explosion caused by Leticia/Drossel, causes Sieg and the headmaster to be notified that a black creature attacked the training ground, Sieg remembers giving her directions there and heads there out of concern. But upon arrival, they see her and a mess of what use to be the creature. Christa, Drossel's younger twin, tries to begin questioning her but is cut off by the headmaster telling everyone to head home for the day and that he'll hear a explanation tomorrow. Her butler, Ruvik, rushes to her side when she gets out of school, being concern, while her new friend, Mira, calls out to her and apologize for being unable to be of help. Leticia/Drossel consoles her by saying that she's glad that Mira is safe as she thinks that the next time the creature appears, she (Leticia) will be involved. They say their goodbyes as Ruvik looked at her with concern as he sees her sadden expression. She contemplated about the events of her current life and the missing memories of the original owner's body along with Mira's see you. The next day, she is called in by the headmaster about yesterday's events and askes about how she is able to cause a explosion without magic. He reintroduces himself as she couldn't remember him (Likely because she doesn't remember anything about the previous owner of the body) btw his name is Lucas. She thinks of not exposing what magecraft is as those things are after her, so much thoughts, she twisted some of her words about it. She talks about magic formulas that can be use w/o magic power, this goes on for a while as she passionately explains it to the headmaster. The headmaster wants her to cooperate to research this 'magecraft' she speaks about as he's interested and that everything is provided. She is confused of what 'circle' and 'laboratory' is.

    (Chapter 7-9)
There's some talk between about the country, Lapis, and a black fog/misma that's causing the disappearance of soliders and incidents. She tries to ask to go to Lapis but is rejected. After that, she leaves. The headmaster thinks back to his talk with the king, asking why the king put her next to the prince, and the king answers that she is to be their hope because of a prophecy. Sieg comes to see the headmaster in which Lucas knows he came to ask about Leticia/Drossel. Going back to Leticia/Drossel who is currently tired of the 2 days she went through and thinking about the situation. Mira comes up to her and calls out for her. She asks Leticia/Drossel to teach her magecraft for the sake of protecting someone she loves, a childhood friend who aims to become a knight or solider, and she wants to help him even a bit. She agrees, making Mira happy. She thinks about her past life, about how she wanted to protect the people she loved. She is resolved to protect everything this time, finding out about the cause of her situation, and solving 'Drossel' case. Mira snaps her out of it as she asks if she's okay in which she confirms she's fine. Her younger twin comes and questions her about yesterday's event to her quickly answering them, mostly lying, then she proceeds to leave as her twin quotes that she always runs away and glad that hasn't changed with a sad smile. Then the trashy prince comes and sees this, accusing Leticia/Drossel of something because of this. Mira defends her but is quickly mocked by the prince in which Leticia/Drossel stands up for her and tells him to apologize to Mira. Leticia/Drossel accepts a challenge by the prince about getting the best grade in tomorrow's extracurricular lesson. To no suprise, she asks Mira what a extracurricular lesson is who explains it to her.
The next day, they head to a aristocrat's villa. Ruvik is reluctant to leave her side, but she tells him that she'll be ok and leaves with Mira. They encounter Sieg and Mira's childhood friend, Hilmes. Sieg mentions he feels out of place in which sparks her curiosity, but doesn't ask. They arrived at the place they're staying as the headmaster hands her paper about who's sharing a room with and asks her to not complain as there's some in the background complaining to a man. He also teases her about having no friends as he sees Mira and the others, which she leaves in flustered as Sieg tells him that he shouldn't do that. While they change, she asks Mira what Sieg meant earlier, she explains that Sieg is a commoner and that the academy just recently been accepting talented commoners and low ranking nobles who aren't being too fonded by the upper ranks. They talk about they hope that social status discrimination will stop eventually. They meet up with Sieg and Hilmes again as the activites starts explaining they need to be in a group of four. Trashy prince mocks her for having low aristocrats and a commoner for a team that doesn't fazed her, and she responds to him to worry about himself. Hilmes and Sieg is left with hunting, but they weren't able to get much except for Sieg who caught a fish. Hilmes mentions that Sieg is good with a gun, in which Leticia/Drossel picks one up and remembers Nao talking about it. She accidently sets one off, killing a bird in process, which impressed Hilmes and Mira as the headmaster shouted who set one off in, Sieg says sorry in place of them who is not paying attention. They get a lecture, then they started cooking. Leticia and Hilmes talks a bit about Mira and cooking. Trash prince shows up and talks about her begging that they'll show some charity (giving them some food) but Leticia mocks him, saying he should do something himself without servants and tells him that they already have food done with evidence. He stomps away as they enjoy their food. Sieg talks about it's been awhile since he ate with others. Leticia is reminded of Nao. They ask her if she's enjoying it and she responds with smile, saying it's delicious.
The next activity is capturing the enemy's black ball to earn points or shooting white balls within the forest. Trash prince and Leticia has another clash before the start. This hypes Hilmes up, Sieg and Hilmes protects their black ball as Mira and Leticia goes and captures/shoot balls for points. They encounter a friend of Hilmes injured by the trashy prince and his accomplices. This alerts Leticia that Sieg and Hilmes are the next targets. Sieg and Hilmes is being attacked and injured by the prince and his lackeys tsk tsk. Leticia comes to save them, scaring them off with her power saying that she did contract with the devil. The chapter ends with the prince alone, who tries to tempt her friends with offers to join the knights and whatnot, but they refused saying they're not willing to sell out a friend for a title and they'll become stronger. They leave after the sound of the event ending and Leticia mocks him one last time before leaving with her friends. A boy and girl seemingly to be villains are shown interested to cause trouble and looking for high magic power people.

(Chapter 10-12) *trying to shorten it due to getting lazy now*
Hilmes and Mira talks about how much Drossel has cause Mira to be more cheerful as they are approached by the trash prince, questioning them who Drossel is as she used to be short tempered and not as calm as she is now. The two who shown up at the end of chapter 9 shows up in front of them, and talks about stirring something up. It cuts to Leticia as her old self dreaming about those she loved leaving her behind then she wakes up as her current self, it's night by the time she does on a chair. She notices Mira hasn't come back and hears a scream that might be Mira. She stands up and a masked man appears before her who speaks her previous self's name, Leticia, and says it's been a long time and she probably doesn't remember. She notices the black fog around him, and attacks him not knowing who he is. The man erases her spell against him, much to her surprise, as well as her power leaking out of her. He taunts her with his lackeys getting her friends and tells her that she's helpless because all those around her is useless, to go with him to crease such suffering to start over and go back to the happy times. She rejects him telling that what's done has been done as she feels weaker, Sieg comes and help her. The masked man exposes Sieg's true status, as he is surprised to see him alive. Sieg is the prince of Lapis.
(going to make this faster explaining)
    - Drossel's butler thinks of Drossel/Leticia's well-being, how he should had followed her.
    - The butler also talks about he was once a orphan and that he was saved by her.
    - The butler informs us that Drossel was once a kind-hearted person, but starting 2 years ago before Leticia enter her body, that she changed and she would yell when she's afraid.
    - Eddie, the third prince of the country they're in, shows in front of the butler who questions the prince's presence.
    - Eddie and a group leaves to the training camp, as the butler could pray for his lady's safety.
    - knowing Sieg can't beat the masked man, he cages the masked man and carries Leticia to escape
    - Sieg gets severely injured, telling her to run and live, also says sorry that he thought of using her to retake his country.
    - Leticia fights the masked man, but is losing to him who hasn't given up on convincing her.
    - A rose-like spirit comes to lent her power to fight back in the current fight.
    - The rose-like spirit told her that both of her has rejected.
    - With a dark spirit beside the masked man retreated.
    - The spirit tells her that man is a unreasonable existence in this world and that she can't beat him now then wishes her well.
    - She remembers Sieg and goes to heal him. Her younger twin rushes to her side who asks if the prince is with her, but Leticia ignores that and asks her to get medical help for Sieg before she leaves.
    - Mira remembers, as she's being chased with the prince and hilmes, her father harming her and her mother.
    - she is choked by a possessed solider, as the prince is being held captured by some's dark creature tentacles.
    - hilmes saves Mira, as she remembers hilmes being the one who saved her by killing her father, and rememebers she wanted to protect him this time, about to use magecraft but stopped due to Leticia's burst of power by the spirit.
    - Eddie and his friend, Ayesha, upperhands them, but the possessed soldier was able to capture and send hilmes somewhere due to hilmes pushing Mira away from being the target.

    (Chapter 13-17)
    - The dark spirit and masked man, reveals to be a Nao with white hair (idk because it's in black and white, but it's no longer black) and colder eyes. They talk about fulfilling a contract between them, as mention too, he's obsessed with Leticia for hundreds, thousands of years.
    - Dark Nao is getting impatient as he worries that his Leticia is getting mixed with the owner of the body.
    - The dark spirit thoughts are that they're the same with obsession, but setting everything aside, he's a utterly disgusting man.
    - Goblin-looking creatures are attacking the training camp, but Leticia wipes them all out easily as the headmaster is surprised.
    - Leticia asks about her friends, as Mira calls her questioningly with tears. Mira informs her, falling onto her knees, that Hilmes was taken because of her.
    - Mira locks herself, as Leticia is on the balcony, feeling guilty of how many people she got involved.
    - Looking like she's going to commit suicide, Crista/Crysta grabs her by the arm.
    - There's a slight argument between them, Crista speaks about since she been engaged with the first prince, all she done is lock herself in her room and cried, that she was scared of something and became freaked out.
    - Leticia tells her she wouldn't want to get involved but Crista tells to not decide her feelings and tells her that Drossel told her once "Don't take on everything yourself."
    - There's a flashback about younger Drossel and Crista. Crista is bedridden due to tiredness (might be studying too hard) as she says sorry to Drossel about unable to study properly and that she's going to be scolded by their mother. Drossel said she would help her, don't take on everything yourself she said to the young Crista. They promised to be forever together.
    - Crista cries, saying that she's moving away from her and Leticia realizes Crista treasures her (Drossel).
    - She tells Crista that she lost her memories, not surprised as she been watching Leticia since she has entered Drossel.
    - She requests Crista to tell her about Drossel that she's bring Drossel back and ask for forgiveness, as Crista agrees and forgives her.
    - Leticia hopes that Drossel will eventually return to this body.
    - She has a audience with the country's king who tests her powers. She counters it, and asks what sorcery is.
    - The king takes her to see the man who captured hilmes being burn due to the misma, he's a victim and once citizen of this country, but was captured by one of those creatures and brainwashed)
    - Sieg appears, reintroducing himself as the prince of lapis, and explains he was exile 11 years ago due to the masked man taking over his country.
    - The masked man arrive prior to his exile and aid the research of sorcery with Sieg's father. He sneaked in to find his father dead, his mother who followed him died protecting him, and a friend escaped with him as soldiers had their lives taken protecting him.
    - With a book of sorcery he took with him, with studied it with this country's king.
    - Sieg explains it's a devilish power and unbuttons his shirt to show a black crystal embedded into his chest, telling her that it's what creates misma. If they continue to use it, it will erode the body and mind, leading one to death.
    - If a host of misma dies, they have to properly burn the body to prevent any more misma, this is so heartbreaking that the king is unable to tell this to the family.
    - The dead man's son and daughter was there watching their father being burn. Leticia goes and introduces herself, asking for their father's name so she can pray with them.
    - The boy shouted at her that pray does nothing as he does it everyday for his dad to come home now he's dead and can't even see his face. The girl says sorry in his place.
    - The boy eventually says sorry, also stating that his father was a wonderful knight who protected their country.
    - 'Drossel' lent some power (I think) and purified the misma from the body, transforming some butterfly that rest on the boy's hand with the image of his father's face reflected in his eyes.
    - Leticia thanks Drossel for this moment in her mind and tells the king she will help.
    - Next day, she talks to the kings about spirits and he mentions that his wife would always tell him stories about them. She lies in the spirit forest and allows her to go there to find anything.
    - She then goes to the lab, where she mets Victor, Sieg's friend that he escaped with. (He has a light color hair, but in the flashback he had a darker hair color and longer hair.)
    - Taking her to graves of the vicims', he talks once more about his past and the burden of their deaths and wishes. Leticia comforts him by telling him he's amazing (as she give up due to the pain of parting) and that he'll find a way along with her help.
    - Eddie, the third prince, is trying to reason and comfort his friend, Ayesha, who is outrage by Leticia's visit to the spirit forest as they have to be her escorts.
    - Mei, another friend of them, sympathizes with Ayesha who has left by now to cool off, but she doesn't think the spirit story is a lie as she witness the light of the spirit who blessed Leticia.
    - Eddie watches Mei leave to go prepare with Ayesha, and also understands how to be powerless.
    - Flashback with Eddie and young Drossel, Dorothy was her nickname from Eddie. It's shown she heals a bird with a impressed Eddie by her side. Eddie asks she could heal without magical powers, in which she tells them that her parents has cursed powers. She further tells him that she's scared of such power as it's not only healing, her powers goes haywire due to her emotions and afraid of hurting someone one day. That day, Eddie told her that he'll get stronger to stop her power from going out of control along with permission to be by her side and watch over her. :)< you can only find someone like this in stories darn it)
    - Continuing the flashback, he overheards his father talking to someone saying Drossel is the girl in the prophecy and to have her enter the royal family.
    - Eddie was later informed about the battle with lapis, he wishes for her to not be hurt and that she doesn't need to be the girl of the prophecy along with his thought of being helpless.
    - Another flashback, a crying young Drossel constantly saying sorry as Eddie lied, injured calling her by her nickname.
    - Present, before they leave to the spirit forest, she is introduce to 3 new faces (Eddie, Mei, and Ayesha). Ayesha is cold to her, Mei seems a bit timid and indifferent, and Eddie treats her warmly. Them along with the headmaster would being going with her.
    - Putting on the moon clip from the flashback of her and Crista, she bid them farawell to Crista and her bulter and ask them to take care of Mira, telling her that she'll bring Hilmes back.
    - Chapter 17, shows us about Nao's background. He was summoned into another world to be a 'hero.'
    - Thinking he's finally having his own story, Nao was arrogant and greedy, also went by Sara-sama. But little did he know, he was being used for entertainment. He slept with 3 woman who acted to be maidens who were saved by him and in love with him.
    - But when he decided against their king, he became powerless. He suffered by the people he thought he trusted and loved him even when he begged them, thinking they had any ounce of affection for him. He was toyed, slept with (by their king), tortured, and abandoned on a mountain cliff.
    - Nao remember about home, how much he wants to go home, he misses his mom and dad who does seem to be good parents telling him to not overdo it with studying and thinking of family trips to broaden his mind for his stories.
    - Just as a monster appears, (old) Leticia saves him and asks if he's ok, she notices that his injuries were of the beast's doing. But she comforts him saying everything is fine now, as he looked at her and realizes she's the real heroine of this story and his story has just begun.
    - He wakes up in a container with the dark spirit in front of him. She mentions that the light spirit is getting weak so she does need to break the barrier. She tells him that she still resting as it'll be bad if she dies and he replies that's not good as for his revenge. She makes him sleep again and says him being to stay fixed to the same thought is troublesome.
    - Back to Leticia/Drossel, it's dark and they discuss about going to a nearby village to rest at a inn when a young girl asks for help.
    - While they think it's a trap as the child was able to escape, Leticia charges forth.

That's about it? In the raws, Leticia/Drossel does save the parents and she has some argument with Ayesha. But I don't understand it.
    > So I have a theory that a person with misma core, a person's hair become lighter in color to white as Nao and Victor used to have dark hair.
    > Sieg, is likely not Nao's reincarnation or possibly Nao's good side of the soul if that's the case.
    > The masked man, is 100% Nao as he speaks so much obsession towards Lectica and how she's the light/everything for him. Plus his flashbacks shows himself as Nao.
    > Another theory, I think the incident where Eddie was injured and Drossel was sorry is when she got engaged with the first prince, and it's what traumatized her.
    > Also I think Crista isn't a white lotus or a two faced, as her concern for Drossel is truly genuine, and I think the only reason she hangs around the first prince (he's trash) is to get him to be with her so she can free her sister from their engagement as she mentions Drossel locked herself up after they got engaged and cried.
    > I don't think the first prince knows anything about Drossel before their engagement, so I guess that's why he's mean, but still... that's not how you should treat a person and not only that he did unreasonable things to those who are below him. That's petty :<
    > Eddie is my favorite character besides Sieg and Leticia who is a wholesome ship.

Not sure if anyone's still following this.
Manga gets confusing but from my understanding, masked man isn't Nao. They look really similar which doesn't help.
Nao reincarnated into Leticiel's original life by falling out of the sky in front of her in Rizenrose Chapter 1.
The masked guy's name is Sara and was another reincarnator summoned by an emperor in Dranzar? and manipulated. He got saved by the original Leticiel after being tossed out by that emperor. (Chapter 17) Look's like he's been obsessed with finding her ever since, probably did something terrible to stay alive 1000 years.
Seems to be quite a few reincarnators from Japan, in the flashback one of the Dranzar emperor's underlings (Canary) is also from Japan.
Still pretty likely Sieg is reincarnated Nao.
