Having worked at Dairy Queen I've tried it plenty with multiple flavors but don't have much opinion on it, it's not bad but not my favorite.
My brothers always did this so I tried it and it was good. About the same level of sweetness as ketchup though, which probably doesn't bode well for ketchup consumption.
Oh comrade!!! How many people did you convert into your cult? I have my own mixing foods cult (member: only me) Some simple good combinations: Ice cream with soba Fries dipped in soup Pizza crushed in mildly sweet normal egg pudding (there are many combinations. The good ones will go on book, bad ones are forgotten, worst ones are remembered to torture people) I made only two people like these combinations. One of them created her own cult based on one of my recipe. (she got convinced to one recipe only) The other guy liked a few of my recipes but he did not spread them actively (he thought it weird). I am not actively in contact with them so, I dont know their current status.
Fries on an ice cream or something similar? I don't really want to judge but all I can say is, not my cup of tea.
I did a lot. When I was in my diploma years i often did overnight study in McDonald alone, and of course, I'm not like those people that studied in 24hr fast-food chain without buying anything (or just buying a drink that cost less than 1$) but always hog a good spots. In fact, I do bought a lot of food throughout the night, enough to be called rich by my university mates that saw me there (although in reality Im just spending money to something I need rather than just enjoying fancy places like most people).. Those days, sometimes I am bored with the same food so I dipped my fries into sundae ice cream, and yeah, it was good, sometimes I put the free mcD blackpaper into my sundae and enjoy it with my fries. P/s: yeaaaa for some reason I think you or someone else already posted about this before, but well. Just go to fast food chain that have both. For me, I would go to McDonald and just buy sundae ice cream + any burger set.
I have done it before. One thing people have not said in this thread. Is the super hot fries being to hot to eat, but if you dip it in ice cream or milkshake. It automatically becomes cool enough to eat, but also you have the best of all worlds. Something sweet and salty. Something crunchy and soft. Something hot and cold. Great combinations. As to pineapple pizza. Hard pass. I’m Hawaiian and whoever made a hawaiian pizza was not Hawaiian. The main reason is the process pineapple. We can grab it straight from the ground and eat it. Eating it any other way is gross. Than having it on a pizza. Double yuck! As to a weird thing I eat. When I was in college. I use to eat PBJ (Peanut Butter and Jelly) in a weird way because I would always get strange looks. The way I ate them was. I would get a slice of bread. Than I would spread peanut butter on half and the other half have strawberry jelly. Than I would fold it. Than I have my sandwich. Now this is where it gets strange. I would have a steaming hot Hot Chocolate when I eat it. That’s right I dip my sandwiches in it than eat it. Lol. I love having the hot chocolate beverage covered PBJ sandwiches. But you have to hit the point where it’s still firm but tasty. I usually go through 6 sandwiches during a meal. When being a college student your always trying to find tasty cheap meals. You can only eat Ramen so often. Besides the cafeteria always had hot chocolate and PBJ. Cheap and ready to go. On a side not I have seen people eat biscotti with hot chocolate. So I don’t think it’s that strange. View attachment upload_2021-8-1_4-44-7.jpeg At least that’s what how I see it
The question is actually whether my parents would be willing to buy that at once, not where I can get it...
Dont tell me that you cant find them anywhere. Even if your parents wont buy them. Just make them or you can find them at parties. (if your family holds them regularly)
I don't go to parties. I can't make fries. I only get fries at McDonalds and my parents don't buy ice cream with it.
