What do people wear I the rain? Wondering if I am the in only one who has a dislike to umbrellas and raincoats. I usually wear a cap and that's about it or if not then I don't really mind getting wet*
If the rain comes down unexpectedly, just whatever I'm wearing + an umbrella. Otherwise, a rainjacket + umbrella (yes I'd use both lol)
Just my normal clothes, rain doesn't really fall that much here so I don't bother with any other rain protection.
An umbrella if I don't really want to get wet.... A cap for convenience... But when it rains I just really want to stay at home and stare at it, unless I need to go out. Haha
It would depend on the situation Am I going to be in heavy rain for a long time? Raincoat Heavy rain short time? Umbrella Light rain long time? Hat just to keep it out of my eyes mostly Light rain short time? Don't care
If I'm not doing anything important just a thirty and shirts If I have plans the next day probs and open hoodie and jeans
Jacket. Umbrella are bothersome to carry when you already got backpack and books in your arms. Plus easy to fly back by strong wind. And heavy. And makes walk slower. Would rather run fast in rain jacket.
Black retractable compact umbrella that I bought at a Lawson's in Japan. (Light rain) Navy umbrella with wooden handle from a now-defunct department store. Really good quality. Can fit two people. (Moderate rain) Black Rain cape from Canada Goose. (Heavy rain) Black Kathmandu gore-tex jacket with an inner zip-in fleece long sleeve for bushwalking. (Heavy rain/wind in winter)
I think raincoats are better but I can't wear them all the time and it's bothersome to put on so I just use umbrella. But the best is to just stay at home under my blanket and take a good nap.
