Bored Random question but what are people most scared of happening e.g certain situations or what thing or object etc are people most scared of being around Found out some phobias that you have probably never heard of as well Arachibutyrophobia (Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth) Nomophobia (Fear of being without your mobile phone) Arithmophobia (Fear of numbers) Plutophobia (Fear of money) Xanthophobia (Fear of the color yellow)
Add "Anatidaephobia" it is quite peculiar and I find it very funny XD It means fear of ducks or to be exact "The fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you" As for me, not sure, maybe, fear of extremely high places? really not sure XD
Haha...really? But well it's kind of annoying. When I eat peanut butter I have to make sure my finger is clean so I can hook up that lump in the roof of my mouth. Most teenager have this. It's quite frightening. Esp this pandemic. I wonder how many minutes can you endure without your phone right now?
Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia is what the fear of long words is otherwise called. Aibohphobia is the fear of palindromes. Makes one wonder if there exists a phobia of wisecracks.
To any Plutophobic out there, I'm here for you, I'll gladly relieve you of the object causing you fear and pain.
A bit of Tryphobia. It gives me the bad kind of goosebumps That's why you have milk with peanut butter
I only use the phone for reading novels, if i want i can read a physical book and doesn't make much difference if not for the fact i need to throw money away to buy books i will read only once.
The mere sight of jewelry makes me extremely uncomfortable. I think I've seen somewhere that it is a real phobia.
I'm scared of needles, both sides of my family have this fear. Until a couple years ago I was not afraid but then I had a couple bad experiences and now I'm scared.
I have no phobia that I know of. I do have severe disgust towards insect so those are a kill on sight order.
Imagine one of these guys standing outside our door as you are going to bed and sleep. Sweet nightmares
Same! I also use my phone to message friends but I can install messenger on my computer so no big deal As long as I have a book with me, my phone stays off until I need it
I have the typical fears like heights and creepy sounds at night, but my real fear is called Submechanophobia. That is a fear of man made objects under water. This is also tied to megalohydrothalassophobia which is a fear of large objects under water. Though even small objects can get me to freak out, its the scale that really messes with me. I couldn't even play the whole Little mermaid level of Kingdom Hearts... I couldn't handle the part around the shipwreck at all. The first nightmare I remember as a child was of my family and I drowning when our car fell off a bridge into water (I think I was about five). Nothing has ever happened, but that dream really scared me. I think if I was ever in a car underwater I would pass out.
Me too. I even only have few people in my contacts. But the problem is, I read all the time. Hahaha. So o held my phone all the time. (≧▽≦)
