This is just a theory okay? I think the bio brother and the bio father love MC in the 1st TL. But, they don't show it and here's why.

As you can see from spoiler above, the emperor rightfully publicize mc position as the lost princess who came back by testing her spiritual powers and they turned out to be stronger than Azuela. Do you remember "Father, I don't want to get married"? The dad there act like he's ignoring her to hide her from the emperor. I think MC's bio fam is like that too.

Because in the 1st TL, MC's power was stolen empty. That's why the bio fam can't test her power to publicize her position as the lost princess because at that time most nobles have been bought by Azuela's saintess act.

Furthermore, in that kind of situation, showing affection to her would only endanger her life more. Please do remember that this is only a theory because we haven't got any pov after Shushu's death in the 1st TL or the bio fam pov in the last TL

 

If that is the case why would the Emperor told her to go to the mirror (it's no different than execution, worse even, once you go to the mirror, not only you would be dead but you can't get reincarnated, basically you are trapped in there forever, that is why Shuelina resent them even more, it was the ML the Dragon something who saved her from the mirror).

It's not that complicated actually, The Emperor been told that it was a boy, so when a girl showed up claiming to be his daughter, even though she has the spirit power but it was too weak, so he believed Shuelina stole that power from Azuela. The Spirit power in the royal family also serve as bond between them, that's why in 2nd TL they don't love Azuela yet, because they don't feel the connection, but if the story goes like in the 1st TL, the more Azuela got Shuelina power, the more they would love Azuela. In the 1st TL, Shuelina met her family when her power already been drained, not only her family didn't recognize her but they also didn't feel the bond, opposite from the 2nd TL, Shuelina prevent her power from getting stolen more, so she is able to awaken in full blooms, and the Emperor could feel it from distance away and knew that Shuelina is in the Grand Duchy. Let just say, the spirit power serve as DNA test and GPS, and instead of 'blood thicker that water', 'spirit power thicker than blood' would be more suited to define the story. And because that power bond too, though Shuelina resent her family she can't help but feel attracted to them, still she loved the Grand Duke family more, cause they are the one who love her for who she is, without the blood bond, power bond whatever.
