Looking for a novel where the protagonist is a detective solving crimes. I'm hoping to avoid supernatural/magic in the novel if possible. I'd also accept novels where the protagonist helps the detective. It's a new genre I'm starting to read, so I don't really have examples, but Detective Conan is a good example, though it's a little stylized.
