A novel Situation

One day whilst hanging out with your friend, they told you some groundbreaking information.

This is what happened. You lot were simply enjoying a mundane outing and they went to use the toilet. After a few moments, they came rushing back. They placed both hands on your shoulders with a mad look in their eyes.

"I just remembered my past life! This is a game, I am the main character!! And you are an NPC!"

Before you could doubt his words, he started to predict the future around you. A live sports game result, a bank robbery in progress, and various little things around you happened like cliche scripted events. Your friend finished up by saying, "Something really bad is about to happen to everyone here, nay, the world!"

They explained that they can save everyone with or without your help. But they will be doing a lot of strange things from that point on.

They offered you a chance to be their companion, or you can choose to go your separate ways.

You have 5 mins to decide, what do you do?

(optional) as you are trying to decide you heard your friend mutter something questionable... distinctly, you heard words cheating, Kill, harem, and chloroform.

 

My answer is since it sounds way too anstrengend (dunno the English word for it)

 

I was into it till you said he mentions harem under his breath? Yea, fuck that shit. I'm not gonna bother with someone who's concerned about a harem in such a situation. They're probably not taking this seriously and is thinking of having an epic fantasy life. And also, being a male side character in a harem novel never ends up well. (And if you're a girl you'd probably not want to be in a harem novel even more.)

I can't think of any other reason why someone would mumble harem so that's my verdict. Go fuck yourself. (I'm saying that to the main character btw, not you OP)
