Sometimes, I like it all black with no sugar. Just pure leaf juice. It reminds me of the reason why I was addicted to this in the first place. I read somewhere that people use tea as a mouthwash and I can definitely see why. Pure black tea doesn't leave a bad breath (and taste) as teas with sugar tend to do. After drinking the tea, your insides are warm, your mouth has that refreshingly bitter aftertaste and and you have a mind that is three fourth awake. Other times, I like my tea a cute shade of milky brown with an adequate amount of sugar. A delicious combination of milk, tea and sugar that covers every inch of your mouth and satiates your hunger for tea. My drink for when I'm famished and don't want solid food. Milk is surprisingly filling and the sugar just gives me that extra bit of energy. The tea has a completely different flavor when drunk with milk and sugar you know? It has a wholesome and sweet taste (that also fills my nutrition needs) which makes my day all flowery (mostly because I'm no longer hungry). But the question here is, how do you like your tea?
I don't know why but I find green tea absolutely disgusting. I have no problem with plain black tea but green tea is the wrong type of bitter for me. Am I boiling it wrong? Am I adding the wrong amount of green tea in? I don't know. All I know is that I don't like it.
You should add sugar or honey it will taste a little better.. Well for breakfast I prefer coffee with milk or coffemate. But they said you're 87% of your life if you give up coffee..
Last time I drank tea more, liked Silver Needle white tea lightly heated at (proper) low temperature (i.e. the water shouldn't be boiling at 100 degrees Celsius). Generally I'm more into green and white tea without any extra spice or fruits mixed in, as the extras should usually be heated to higher temperatures to get their flavour out, which spoils the green and white tea that is most compatible with lower temperatures... so if I drink tea, it's generally just leaves. Of course, I'm not a specialist in tea at all, but that's how I roll.
I don't drink caffeinated tea, so I avoid black and green tea. I prefer other varieties and I don't drink coffee at all. Sometimes I add sugar, milk, honey or nothing. Depends on the type of tea or how I'm feeling.
When I was younger I liked tea that was more of a sugar water with tea flavour, but when I grew older I still haven't lost my sweet tooth but it's not as sharp anymore. I now like a bit hotter than warm adequately sweet black tea with some bitter taste with my freshly baked pastries (if heaven had a taste, that would be it), and black tea with a generous amount of milk with the rest of food, or on its own. Tea and milk are a lovely combination, because they are so filling and their taste is absolutely lovely. I prefer the usual Ceylon tea you'd usually buy in a supermarket (or so it's logo says, hell knows where it actually came from), and not any fancy flavours like Earl Grey with any aftertaste. Neither do I add things like jam or honey to it. I understand the appeal on some level, and I sometimes do like me a cup of some refreshing flavour but those moments are rare and usually I feel it's a bit not quite like what tea is supposed to be. I never got into green tea, or whatever other colors there are. As far as I'm concerned, green tea is weak in flavour and tastes like bitter water with no redeeming features as far as taste is concerned. Though maybe I brew it wrong. I am no tea specialist by any means
Depends on my mood . Sometimes with little of sugar . Sometimes with milk and sugar . Depends on the tea too.
