Because pure healers make one of the poorest MCs unless in slice of life or where there are no tension. Only with a big stick you can prevent yourself from getting mugged. With only the power of heart, you are either begging to be enslaved or having to attach yourself to a big stick. All I can think of is the wrong way to use healing magic.
To be fair, she's more of a self-regenerating fist-fighter than a healer no matter what the class says.
Saihate no paladin or Paladin of the End, MC is specialized in healing powers, but MC is an awesome fighter too and that may not be what you want. There’s a Japanese Mangá called Blade of the Immortal that pretty much fill your request. More Wuxia than Xuanhuan/Xianxia, MC is a immoryal samurai that will be kept alive no matter what by some bloodworms that infest his body. To give examples, in some fights he need more speed, he ripped off his own arm so his body became lighter, after the fight he just regenerate.
