Is there a equivalent or something similar to this site but focused on manga? I know this site also does that in the forums and stuff but it is novel focused typically translated ones. I'm looking for a site that focuses on manga and or anime? That has a forum for discussion and stuff like this one
That would be great but it doesn't exist. One reason this doesn't exist is that many sites get taken down over the years. Another reason is the unstable amount of updates. some sites update faster than others and some site have missing chapter while others have bad quality chapters and the this list can go on, but the manga world is very chaotic.
Yeah, manga updates would be the closest because they don't have chapters in their website, it just list updates... And the forum and community are quite active.
The updates aren't really a necessity, i've been out of touch for a minute until my mind wandered today and it occurred to me that i used to read manga. I also fet the same about anime and tried it but years have passed and a lot of my beloved anime feel childish and stupid now, like when i first wondered why batman didn't kill joker (cartoon version) onstead of locking him up only for him to escape. But thankfully i remember manga being more raw so they should be readable. My main goal is to find a site like this where people can reccomend me novels since they read a lot but with manga instead, if they read MAJORLY manga their advice and reccomendations would be better,since i'm trying to get back in touch. I used to fumble about myself back then coming across and reading all sorts of things-forgot a lot of their names though, But meh, it's easier to ask. And search engines of any sort are only partially useful. Oh is it? I'll check it out then thanks.
If you like batman I recommend the animated movies more than the cartoons. mostly because the movies tend to cater to more mature audience while cartoons tend to be TV friendly. <--- most of the animated movies are really good with a few exception like batman ninja which was trash. For manga I have been reading since middle school, but I have gotten tired of reading manga as of late most of it has no real romance it's mostly ecchi or the guy never makes any real moves to get the girl he likes. I think most ppl have migrated towards novels or webtoons/manwha for this reason as it caters to more mature audience.
Oh is it? I'll check it o LOL. Everyone likes batman but no i'm not really interested in reading or watching him again. Just remembering my childhood and watching him on tv.
I don't think everyone like batman. I know a few ppl who don't think much of batman. I think in this era spiderman was more popular with all the movies that came out in the last 2 decades.
As others have said, Mangaupdates is a good database for manga, but also regular anime sites like MAL or Anilist also have manga listed. All three mentioned have a forum too.
