Are humans better at creation or destruction?

 

look at global warming and you will find the answer

we're good at building but it eventually destroys everything

 

id say creation the internet itself is a feat that hardly anyone would believe 50 years ago

 

Is that even question you can't answer?

 

just a few are good at creation, but all are good at destruction.

 

Normally i wouldn't know the answer, hence that's why I asked.

This is just a random question I found on the internet about 'interesting topics to discuss about' and I thought it's pretty interesting so why not? I made a thread about it to increase my messages, because again, why not?

 

We are good at creating for the select few at the expense of the larger environment.

depends on what perspective we peer. but i'd say humans are good at creation due to the advancement of our race that took us to where ancients won't ever even imagine. yet just as how good we are when it comes to creation, i think we are equally good too when it comes to destruction. thank goodness we aren't on the times of war huhuhu or i won't even want to imagine how dark humans are able to be

Hmmm... Ok. Then my answer is destruction. It's because no matter what creation human do, it will alway start with destruction. Even we just see a light, the light will capture by eye and will reformat to data for our brain. Even we just walk, how many calories will be burn. Even eating will kill many creation in earth. But that don't mean destruction is bad, is how you use is that most important

 

I think we all have impulses pushing us to both. But most of the destruction, like climate change and pollution, isn’t so much from a desire for destruction as a consequence of a lack of concern for others and forward thinking from humanity as a whole.

For impulses towards creation, it feels satisfying to create things whether physical (Lego, cooking, etc...) or otherwise(music, dance, etc…).
As for destruction, isn’t it fun to destroy a sand castle you’ve just built?

because humans are full of contradiction
We all have a good and bad side so its up to us to decide whether we want to create or destroy...i guess we're unfathomable

 

I believe we are better at destroying, because if we think that way we are the fruit of sin?

there is a fine line between creating and destroying. Cooking destroy the ingredients but it also create dishes.

Exactly, no matter can be created or destroyed.

If you want a rock solid answer than we lean towards destruction more.

 

We have the capacity to do whatever we want. That's all.
