Is this worth reading? The reason I'm interested is because it's the same author as Soul Land whose anime is great. How does it compare to ATG which seems to be the most popular?
I didn't particularly like it...kinda got irritating, and honestly I was tired of stuff that involved rape at that point. douluo dalu was the only novel of his I liked and I never got around to finishing that one...his other works included MC's that all somehow pissed me off
I feel ya I only made it half way through HJC before I gave it up Edit: also it does not help that every thing he writes has the same plot just the characters and setting change
got to the part Spoiler where that general and his daughter who somehow both used dark attribute showed up...for some reason I had enough at that point. anyways, I wouldn't recommend it or any xianxia/xuanhuan really.
Is there really? I remember reading this story way back and the tone has always kind of humorous. The protagonist in particular was a huge goofball, does it get darker later on?
Pretty sure the Mc raped the other girl he was with pretty early on when he first awakened or whatever. I was just tired of the whole inconsequential rape aspect of xianxias
So yea he gets 3 of his women through rape and the ending is super mega rushed. Also Spoiler: Douluo Dalu and HJC spoiler The main power system (elemental jewel abilities) are abandoned like spirit abilities from rings were at the end of Douluo Dalu.
I see the acronyms you use are unfamiliar to me. ATG is the one I'm familiar with and the readers usually use.
I only read ATG, and I drop it early on so I really don't know what to compare, but I heard that ATG gets good later on in the story. As for HJC, I haven't really read it and heard anything about it.
