Meanwhile the demon armies plot against one another to take the title of demon king, at least on this side of the world. Blood rivers no doubt flows on the demon continent. The prince blinded by his own hero glory forcefully commandeers the army and launches his attack in his first ever expedition. He is nearly killed by the demon king's younger brother but is saved by the healers. The younger brother then heads off to kill other demon army generals with a path that would take him through where Romelia is. Elizabeth was told of his near death by her adopted farther the corrupt and greedy bishop, she rushes to the prince's side worried about the traitors in the army, she is taken aback at how blind and unreliable he is and vows to lead the kingdom to protect him which in turn would protect their unborn child. Here ends volume 1. The webnovel details the three year struggle of Romelia in setting up her army and military alliance. Volume 2 starts three years after volume 1, near the end of the military allliance as most of the demon army within their kingdom has been eliminated, although demons still plague other kingdoms. Kudos to the author, instead of reediting the webnovel for publication or simply abandoning the webnovel, he is going to continue and it won't be a situation where the webreaders already know the story but shell out money for some new content the entire published novel would be a first time for the webreaders. Edit: It appears the author first wrote webnovel arc one, arc three, then arc four(elimination of the enemy bridgehead on the human continent) but became dissatisfied and froze then axed much of the old account. He now writes updated webnovel arc one and arc two, with arc three and four in the future, then one or two more arcs after. Chinese commentors suggest a manga later this year.
