well ... this will be long I will just describe the characters first because I think it will be confusing if I don't do it. Spoiler: Male lead the male lead is the silver guy in the cover his name is Rissen Martius he is a mage prodigy, he has immense power, he is considered "god's favourite" (think of him as Clow Reed if you know clamp ) he is the third "son" of Marquess Martius. In reality he put a spell on the Marquess house to make them think he is their son, he was abandoned in the mountains when he was a baby because his parents were scared of his powers, he grew in the wild with animals and monsters and doesn't know how to interact with humans he goes to the "civilization" to eat human food because he got curious when he stole food from humans in the mountains, he never actually met Rose in the first life until he sees her when she jumps in the river to kill herself and that is when he falls in love her because he saw himself in her. Spoiler: Rose Harley the main character, she is the daughter of the Duke Harley, in the first life she killed herlself when she jumped in the river. Spoiler: The third prince, William he is Rissen best "friend" and the next emperor, he knows Rissen's true nature. He owns the biggest information guild and have connections in the kingdom. Spoiler: Cecilia St. the one who stole everything from Rose, she is a commoner who was adopted in the Harley family because her parents passed away and manipulated everyone around Rose. she stole a magical stone from the duke when she visited the first time and that's why she can manipuled everyone to "love" her. She killed her parents with poison. Spoiler: the ghost in the dukedom in the Harley house there is a story about a maid who killed herself in the mansion because she was in love with the first duke "the hero", they grew up together but he didn't love her and married another and she couldn't bear watching him being happy with another woman so she killed herself. Spoiler: how she "turned back time" the ghost at the Harley house remained there and watched every descendant of the first duke and she kind of developed an affection for Rose, she watched her grow and though of her as a granddaughter and even when Rose was kicked out of the house she was with her until the very end when Rose killed herself, she felt so much pain watching everything that happened to Rose and powerless because she was a ghost so when Rissen saw that Rose jumped in the river and jumped to save her but it was kind of a little late so he thought for a moment to turn back time and as he has immense power and the ghost's wish to save Rose tore "God's realm" and as Rissen is God's favourite they were back in time, there were three factors for this to happen, the river because water is a medium, the ghost that is a being "not from this world" and belongs to "God's realm", Rissen because he has power. Rissen, Rose and the ghost go back in time. Later Rissen promise to the ghost to grant her wish. Spoiler: until ch57 when Rose goes back, she puts her maid who betrayed her in the first line on her side, she decides to invest in a painter named Leo who is a commoner and will become very famous in the future and that's to gain profit and prepare for the future when she will be abandoned then she becomes friends will a Lady and her group of friends who like arts to gain more social standing while Cecilia is confined in the house to learn etiquette again because she doesn't have good manners (Rose convince the duke of this) she meets the third prince when she is buying the music box and kind of become acquaintances, he knew her because of Rissen (he knows because Rissen has been watching Rose and he was curious about her) then Rose cuts her hair and meets Rissen who shows himself in the prince's name and its awkward and he gift her a knife and she leaves him because she knows he was suppose to be Cecilia's fiance in the future and she was planning to "steal" him from her and time later she meets her fiance and realize that he never actually cared about her from the start. She meet the ladies and gain a reputation because she helps commoners but she is just doing it to help the people who helped her in the first line then Leo(the painter) goes missing and she looks for him and hires guilds to get information about his whereabouts but every guild declines her request and she decides to ask for the prince's help by contacting a Lady who is known in the kingdom as the princes lover because she kind of grew up with them and was in a relationship with them but always broke up the lady says to her that the third prince told her to help her and she then decides to ask for Rissen's help instead and they meet and she asks him to find Leo and he says that he already knows where he is and that he is in his house and that Leo was kidnaped by a Lady from the group of Mary who became obsessed with his art but a "friend" saved him and then she asks him to return him but he doesn't respond and Rose kind of notice that Rissen likes her for the way he reacts to her (he's always blushing around her and he knows what she likes) then she decides to test him by asking him to be her escort to the royal dance that will soon take place he says he was planning to and would have asked her then she meets Leo and he tells her everything and they decide to set the lady who kidnapped him a trap and they succeed then Cecilia ends her etiquette lessons and the duchess decides to throw a welcome party for her but she didn't tell Rose about it and only an hour before the maids tell her, Rose feels so about it because even so she knew her relationship with her parents wasn't the same it still hurts being ignored by them so she goes and the commander knight accompanies her and she watches as her moms ignores her and gift Cecilia a beautiful dress and Cecilia acts the part then Rose tells Cecilia if she can forgive her because she didn't prepare any gifts for her because her mother didn't tell her that there will be a party and tells her she can take her gold bracelet that she is wearing and her earrings too if she wants so she doesn't have to asks the maid to steal it for her just like when she took her rubies that her mother gifted her in her birthday and then Cecilia goes and she tells hers she didn't do it but the duchess asks her why is she lying when she told the duchess that Rose gifted them herself and there it is known that Cecilia stole Rose's rubies and she runaways from the room crying and Rose realize that duchess ignored her because she was mad that Rose gave away the rubies that she gifted her in her birthday and then the duchess wants to talk to her again but Rose ignores her because the duchess doesn't want to apologize to her and then sometime passes and then she meets Rissen again and they meet and talk and share their "secret" he tells her that she has to give him something to for him to answer her and she kisses him on the lips and tells him that's the equivalent of ten answers he blushes so much and is in shock she tells him that she knows he is a mage and that they both know the future already and she asks him how they came back and then tells him he doesn't need to answer because it isn't important then they teletransport to the dukedom.. sometime later the day of the ball arrives and Cecilia set up a trap to make Rose arrive late and give her some pills to make her sleep but Jamie tells her about it and she pretends to sleep then when Cecilia and the duke leave for the ball she start her preparations and the maids tell her the duchess didn't go and was on her room(since the incident about the party the duchess shut herself up and didn't spoke to Cecilia at all) Rose tells them that she doesn't care and she wears a revealing dress that shows her back and is a pair with Rissen's suit and he goes to pick her up and when they arrive together at the ball its a fuss because of the rumours about her, her hair and her unconventional dress and her partner because she was engage and she arrived with another man they practically become the center of attention and everyone wants to talk to her leaving Cecilia in the background then there is an incident when her fiance gets jelaous because she is suppose to be with him and not another man and he takes her to a balcon and forces a kiss on her and tells her if she wanted to be looked at she should have told him sooner then she starts to defend herself because in the past when she was on the street she had to fight for her life and starts beating him really bad and makes him bleed then Rissen comes and says sorry and starts healing the fiance and Rose wonders why he is doing it and if he is betraying her but then when he is done he starts beating him and tells her that he put a spell and nobody can hear them and she can beat him as she likes because he will him again and then she can start again until she is pleased.. after the beating they come out and everyone is looking at them and wondering why the fiance doesn't come out and the Rose realize Cecilia is watching her and she tells the duke something and they go to Cecilia and Rissen, the duke tells her to stop embarrassing him and to take care of her sister then Rissen present himself to the duke to divert his attention and the he leaves mad then Cecilia presents to Rissen and he ignores her and she tells him how dare a third son marquees ignore her when she is duke Hayley's daughter and he tells her she is not and he was never below her and make a comment for everyone to her about her manners and that she will always be a commoner trying to cosplay as a duke's daughter she is embarrased and then start fake crying and screaming about how he tried to touch her breasts and everyone start taking her side but Rissen and Rose don't care because that's the day and then William enters the ball cover in blood with the crown on his head and tells everyone there that he killed everybody and the sins of the past king how he raped children and the nobles and the princes were helping him and then he looks at Cecilia that she is a mistake too and she should know her place and everyone who was taking her side leaves her and she complete becomes a pariah .. anyways fast foward in the dukedom the duchess is sick in the heart and its kind of a comma, Cecilia shut herself up and starting showing her true colors the duke too shup himself up and Rose is preparing for her date with Rissen when then the duke calls her and guilt trip her because she doesn't take care of the duchess and she says that Cecilia doesn't do it too but Cecilia starts acting and saying she is too sensible for it and doesn't want to see "mother like that" then Rose goes to see the duchess and when she arrives she thinks the duchess is "sleeping" starts crying and telling her about what she suffered in the first line how she was almost raped and how she had to kill to survive, how she was foolish and waited for her mother to go look for her but she never came and that she is not the same since then because she realized her parents didn't care for her and love between never existed that she is broken and then she let her hand go and starts to strangle the duchess, Rose is crying and screaming that she hopes the duchess feels abandoned and feels what is like nobody believes you and the duchess is choking and trying to scream and losing consciousness Rose is still screaming that she is broken and she doesn't feel guilt about killing her because after all the duchess killed her first and she is tired of everything, of pretending to be their daughter and then she lets the duchess go and before she falls unconscious Rose kisses her on the cheeks as she tells her she truly hates her then she goes back to prepare for her date when the maids call her again and tells her the duchess is awake and wants to speak with her she gets a little scared because she tried to kill her, she goes and see the duchess and she tries to speak to Rose but the duke and Cecilia barge in the room and the duchess tells them to get out because she wants to speak with Rose alone but Cecilia starts saying she doesn't want to leave her alone and the duchess tells the servants to get that girl out of her sight because she makes her sick and the duke starts screaming how could she like that with Cecilia and she tells him he doesn't have any right to criticize her when he didn't even visit her when she wasn't feeling well he leaves and the duchess tells Rose she is sorry that she couldn't protect her Rose tells her she doesn't know what she is talking about and the duchess tells her she is sorry again the duchess starts telling her she though Cecilia was like a little cat and wanting to protect her because she was Rose's friend but one day she started thinking she was more important than Rose and she doesn't know why and she started feeling like Cecilia was her own daughter and that she would lose something precious if she wasn't by her side, Rose starts thinking too why they abandoned her in the past and there was a weird aura surrounding Cecilia, the duchess tells her that she knows her true self now, she was disappointed about Cecilia in the party and realized that Rose was her daughter, Rose doesn't care anymore and thinks that maybe her old self would have cared about it and now she only think her mother is justifying herself, Rose thinks that sometimes she wonders if they were under a spell or something and she doesn't want her mother to apologize because it useless now after everything she had to go through it is impossible for nightmares to disappear after an apology, her apology won't heal her wounds and the duchess starts saying she will kick out Cecilia and if she can forgive her and start smiling again, Rose thinks she doesn't want to hear this and that her mother is very selfish because she didn't even try to understand her wound that not only Cecilia caused and wants to know what the duchess knows and asks her what she is going to do because she can't even stand against the duke when he is protecting Cecilia and she knows she will not do anything, Rose thinks she doesn't even have a heart anymore to forgive her and that her mother doesn't even know everything and even if she knows she will not able to apologize herself, the the duchess starts telling her she had weird dreams while she was sleeping and doesn't know if they are the past or the future, where she saw everything Cecilia did to Rose and saw her death, she was scared and was wondering why did she have to watch her daughter go through horrible things and saw her die, she is scared of what she dreamt and wants Rose to tell her it just a dream and not real. Rose thinks the duchess is just trying to not feel guilt and free herself, trying to hide the things she did to her, Rose thinks that would have been better if it was just an awful dream and she only had to be worried about dresses she decides to just keep her mouth shut and make the duchess sleep and before leaving her Rose tells her that the world is awful, it is not romantic and its time for her to wake up then she leaves. She is furious because the only person to know her is Rissen and wonders why did he let her mother see her past as a dream as she is going to meet him

Spoiler please TT I really want to know what happened after chapter 57. Why did Rissen brought her mother's memory back? Also I agree with Rose, even if her parents were under some spell the damage can't be undone just by saying sorry. And frankly speaking I don't know why the mother thinks that by driving Cecelia away will make everything okay and why instead of being remorseful and consoling the daughter, she seems like a panicky lady who wants her abused daughter to console her and tell her that everything is a dream
