recently i mostly stumble upon novels that arent fully translated, that get boring or where the MC ends up partwise crippled or raped and tortured...
Just give me something thats supporting a steady level of entertainment. Nothing goofy or MCs that only survive by doing the impossible (the last is somewhat acceptable).
    • Wuxia is fine but a less classic approach is better
    • like zombie or monster attacks
    • no fan of gun or magic use

World of Cultivation is very very brotherhood focused, but i'm not sure if it's that great a novel for more veteran readers. The cultivation system is very unique
Monarch of Evernight is quite brotherhood focused with some romance (monogamous). The combat system is basically using cold weapons and guns
Maybe brotherhood isn't what you wanted the most, but i thought of these 2 novels when you mentioned it

So it was you that made me add "the darkness was comfortable to me". I've read that short while ago and it really was so good~ I can't wait for new chapters to come online:sushi_thankyou:
"Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu" is a story that i love as manga, therefore i don't want to spoiler myself by reading the novel. That only leaves "Akuyaku Reijou no Koi o Shite" to be read. Hmm~ sounds like a good plan. I might start that later today then
