Discussion Do you personify items?

Everytime I hit the table, I apologize to it...

 

What a coincidence! I do that with stationary items, like books, pens, pencils, erasers etc.

 

Yes. Especially my PC, until this point it has become a comrade in the arm. I clean the lad, treat him with respect, considering we both have to spend so much time together and bear each other.

 

My fan wasn’t working last night so i asked it if i wasn’t polite enough for it to turn on, it proceeded to turn itself and the light(attached to the fan) on at 1 am

 

Depends on what it is. Mainly stuffed animals and lamps and snowglobes

I also worship air conditioning

 

My toes everytime I hurt it.

I beg my toaster to toast my bread perfectly. Calling it 'sir toaster' as i beg.

My toasted bread has been perfect since then(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)

 

That depends on the item, and more often than not, it's a minor personification

I insult things when they don't work the way I expect to them to or are struggling. "Come on you piece of ****, you can do it" etc.
