I'm sure everyone has a few novels that they felt giving 5 stars wasn't enough for. Which novels do you feel are deserving of the transcendent rating. Feel free to mention as many as you like (Probably not too many though as the rating would lose it's value) but try to think if at least one novel among them that's not too famous or discussed about much.

Let's try sticking to translated novels and web novels.

Now, cue the string of Lord of the Mysteries and Reverend Insanity replies.

tbh, i have none. Closest thing would be the great storyteller and superstars of tomorrow. But the former ended in a lackluster way while the latter felt like it was cut short.

Experimental log of the crazy Lich
    Worlds’ apocalypse online
Both of these have cunning and eccentric trickster protagonists, which is why I personally feel like they go from 5 to 6. But that’s only really based on my own taste in novels

I think superstars of tomorrow is fine the way it is, even if it felt a little abrupt, it's better than dragging it on. The great storyteller did feel like it was cut short....

Haven't read either of them but I've heard of Experimental log of a crazy lich quite a few times. Maybe I'll try it some time.

I love Experimental log, but quite a few chapters start out with the protagonist/narrator effectively info dumping. This really an interconnected world with deep waters, but could be annoying if you don’t like these sorts of things.
And WAO only really picks in quality after the first few hundred chapters and can be a little wacky at times

Boss Lan / Crossing to the future, its not easy to be a man.

I love it cause it so freaking action packed and slice of life but with a female mc who is NOT a naive idiot obsessed with getting the affection of boys. It was my first female crossdressin mc with pure action.

Maybe a bit controversial, but for me it's Arifureta shokugyou de sekai saikyou. It's light and have a great balance with harem end. Each main character have their own character growth which is visible

There's no controversy if you're the one giving it the 6/5 rating. Doesn't have anything to do with what others think.

There's a reason why so many people say it's one of the best translated novels. I agree that it's really good.

    SSS-Class Suicide Hunter!!

MC was pretty unlikeable at the beginning, but once his real personality shines through, the story goes from great to amazing! You can really tell the author put a lot of thought and planning into the arcs/plot lines. It’s a heartwarming story (of an MC who just wants to do right) that also has its thoughtful and sad moments.

It also has a webtoon, which has super nice artwork as well :blobsmilehappy:

Did a quick search on it. Haven't heard of it before, but with political intrigue, strategist main characters who are actually smart and some romance added to the mix, I can see why it might be really good.

Definitely TCF, words cannot describe how fond I am to this novel
Devil's Cage (I want more chapters bcs I feel like the story can have more deeper plot but I definitely satisfied with all the game elements and world hopping)
Monster Paradise (my fav simply bcs I think the monster MC have didn't feel like a "pet" or simply just "monster companion" rather it's close to a subordinate, also it's interesthing to see the subordinate have various personalities so MC sometimes have a headache trying to solve them lol)

I feel like I have more but these 3 definitely top of my list

Strongest Sword God (this might not be the accurate title but I really like this bcs MC is too cool and it wasn't boring despite it all being "virtual reality". I read many others, this definitely stick out more)

I've only read Trash of the count's family and Reincarnation of the strongest sword god. TCF, I can completely understand why you think it deserves a 6/5, but for Reincarnation of the strongest sword god, after reading "Zero Wing shocks the world" for the 50th time, I kinda had to drop it. It's good but too repetitive in my opinion.
