C2: I'm betting that he just killed the dungeon's boss. I wonder if that shuts down the dungeon?

C3: Guess it did shut the dungeon down. I wonder how many levels he got for that? Also curious if his card has a title like "dungeon killer" or something on it now.

"the schedule for the Olympics have been protected. Isn’t that great?” lol.

“So, what do you think I should report to the section chief?” Well, you could always report it as a normal earthquake? Probably a bad idea though.

C4: “This is a contract after all, isn’t it?” It feels a bit late to be mentioning this now, and a bit strange that people are so willing to give up their humanity for skills that do who knows what. Or is he just joking?

C5: “It looks like you’re quite well-informed about the culture of my country. You’re making me cry.” lol.

C6: "Couldn’t you just go talk to the section chief…?” More like, "Shouldn't you find a new job first?"

“Eh? This lunch set will suffice. It’s your treat, right senpai?” lol. I like her ;)

That said, being his agent seems like a severe downgrade for her if she's as much of a genius as he thinks she is and can leave her current dead end job whenever she likes for a much better one as she says she can. Well, based on the info at hand at the moment anyway.

C7: Why would they need to specially add it to a list of unknown skills? If they have a way of forcing people to show their D-Cards, then couldn't they just add unknown skills at that point? Though, I do appreciate the author acknowledging that searches on such a site would definitely be monitored.

With a name like that, I was expecting a crafting ability, not an extremely generic stat growth power.

"The basis for the ranking might be this value." I wonder if he can lower his ranking then.

I'd be severely tempted to dump a ton into Vit and Luck... Vit for survivability and potential life span increases, Luck for making life dramatically easier.

Speaking of luck, how the f' did he manage his little stunt in chapter 2 with a luck of 9?!?

"I mean, you’re going to treat me to a meal at Morille, right?” I wonder how long it'll take him to realize that they're dating ;)

I wonder if there's a limit to how many skills you can have. There's only so much space on a card after all. If so, then he may want to be careful about what skills he takes on rather than just going for them because they're cheap.

C8: "It’s raining, as if the sky is weeping for my poor wallet after last night." Its a good thing he's about to be rich. Otherwise, his quasi-girlfriend/possible future wife would drive him into the poor house ;)

If he really needs a ton of money in a short period of time, he could always start his research with Luck and a casino... ;)

Am I the only one that was expecting some minimal level of combat training in the dungeon licensing course?

I wonder if he'll even get any SP from killing small fry.

C9: So, how are they planning to verify that xp gain isn't related to level disparity?

    "1173.03 → 1173.05" Honestly, I was expecting .01 at the highest.

C10: "I don’t quite get the difference between Storage and Safe." Ah, when I saw "Safe", I thought it was a barrier skill of some sort, not a personal vault.

Honestly, I think he should take it. If he's going to be solo dungeon diving, then it'll be necessary to have a way to carry the loot without worrying about it getting in the way or breaking.

C11: "have made sure to avoid places with ceilings too high for my flashlight to reach" Why not carry an umbrella with cleaning fluid rubbed on it?

Given that there's no shortage of slimes, and they're being replenished by the dungeon as well, I think it would be more efficient to kill 5-10 slimes (or 1+ any that are super close by) before leaving the dungeon. The time saved would make up for the lost SP per kill.

“If the orb hasn’t vanished from within my Safe even after 3 pm" Why would you test it like that? It has an expiration timer written on it. Just take it out of the Safe and check the timer. No need to risk it disappearing.

"there’s a reasonable number of anonymous explorers in Area 12" Why would you assume they're anonymous?

I wonder if he'll use any of the orbs himself, or if he'll get others to use them first before deciding on his build. Regardless, if Physical Resistance is anywhere near as effective for humans as it is for slimes, then he should absolutely use it.

C15: “Now I finally understand why people use tax havens!” And yet, I doubt you'll move to a tax haven and delve their dungeons.

I have sincere doubts about how secure the party's membership data would actually be.

C16: "As if anyone would actually try to live inside a dungeon full time." I could absolutely see people doing that though.

They should create an imaginary limit on the number of orbs that can be stored in order to make their method seem at least slightly less valuable.

C19: "Isn’t it bloody hilarious to imagine some research institute analyzing those magic crests seriously.” lol. I knew I liked her ;)

I wonder if she's bothered to get Storage yet. If not, then she should. It'd make courier duty much safer.

"there’d really be no point in having a 300 m² office." What about building training spaces in the excess area? He's going to want to train himself if he's planning to keep going solo after all.

C21: “A hundred million Yen. That’s a lot of money for you guys, right?” Um, not really? They just made like 8 billion and will make another 3 within the next couple of days. 100 million is basically pocket change to them.

With the "if one of us dies, the orbs go poof" clause, wouldn't they try to stop him from soloing in the dungeon?

C22: If they're testing his reflexes, stamina, etc., then shouldn't he need to move around?

Now that they know the aura is there, and have a way of measuring it to some degree, I wonder if they can actually determine the Status of people without Making. If so, then they should buy that scanning company and all of its patents.

C25: “Oh my, in that case it’s okay. I grew up in Yokosuka until the age of 12.” lol. I saw it coming, but it was still funny ;)

I wonder when the MC will get around to spending his SP.

C27: Wow. That was a needlessly long interlude.

C31: Wouldn't carrying her prevent her from getting a card if simply loading a bullet would? Also, wouldn't handing her a full spray bottle be the same as loading a gun for her?

C32: Ah, so that's what the straw was for.

C33: "Wasn't it you who held back the party of Great Britain while massively abusing your authority?" lol. I love how blunt they are about this ;)

C37: I wonder if he'll get the actress and the model to help with testing the new device. Also curious if they'll wind up joining his Party.

C38: "It’s because there’s just two of us. " She's coming along? Why? She's got a normal person's stats and no combat training to speak of. Or has she secretly been working out using the slime+door technique?

"Isn’t the beginner gear that Ms. Mitsurugi and her friend used at the beginning just fine?" Considering that they're going to the 14th floor, that doesn't feel like it'll ward off concerned advice very well.

"I don’t have any intention to get close to them as long as I don’t get my hands on powerful AoE magic.” What about Water Magic?

C39: Personally, I'd want to check the loot tables on each floor to determine if the monster's level impacted it in some way.

Why is Myoshi able to kill the goblins almost as easily as the MC? She's barely done any dungeon diving in her life.

C40: Well, I certainly wasn't expecting it so soon. Too bad it didn't drop Darkness Magic. That summoning skill looked quite useful, but a numbered orb just isn't worth his time.

C42: I bet that rank 7 Cure potion will be used on the saintess of that cult, and that she'll be very unhappy with the fraudster that's been using her once she regains her memories.

C43: I'm a bit surprised that Miyoshi isn't insisting on finding someone to cook that monster tongue.

C44: “I was just lucky.” Why not just tell her that he bought Detect Life? Its a reasonable explanation, and I'm sure she'd appreciate the implication that it would greatly improve her own training.

C45: I wonder why he doesn't want to sponsor a movie. He knows its got a fantastic chance at success, and it feels like something he'd want to do at least once in his life.

"I just lack the chances and partner." Lies. Every woman in this series has thrown herself at him.

"looking somewhat like crude accessories" Wouldn't it be better to make them look somewhat fancy so that they could be worn regardless of the occasion without standing out too much?

C48: I'm surprised that no one's mentioned firing the guy that caused this mess.

I wonder which stats go up when she kills stuff with Storage.

C52: "The limit of summoned hounds is INT / 4." So, he could summon 25 at a go if he felt like it?

C53: Since the summons are permanent, I wonder if they gain SP.

C56: "a factory churning out units might be too much." That depends on its cost. If its something that ordinary people could afford, then just one factory might not be enough.

How did Miyoshi get Safe? Or was that a typo?

Has to be a typo. She has Storage and Safe has the three year cool-down drop rate.

The song "Opportunities" by the Pet Shop Boys keeps popping into my head whenever Miyoshi and Keigo come up with another idea.

“I’m 100% sure that no one would ever imagine that we’re buying those as a reward for our pets.” They're standing outside while saying this, right? In that case, quite a few people know.

That aside, I wonder if people can absorb the magic crystals too. They sound like they'd give a concentrated burst of SP.

I think they're standing outside their office, a private plot of land, so the chances of other people listening in is low.

But either way, the magic crystals should allow to harness MP rather than SP. It'd at least make sense with the story so far, since MP or mana as it's called in most fantasy novels, is an unknown in modern society. Also SP seems to be related to experience points. It sounds kinda like an abbrevation to "skill points" to me.

Every building in their neighborhood is occupied by spies that are desperately trying to get every scrap of information they can about those two. There's zero reason to believe that they wouldn't be listening in now that the two aren't protected by the various aspects of their home that make eavesdropping so difficult, especially after Simon got everyone's attention by visiting.

I assume that SP is short for Stat Points since he applies them directly to his stats. I'm also assuming that they'd add to SP rather than MP because they seem to be making her dogos stronger. I suppose its possible that their development is related to their status as summons, but the crystals just seem more likely.

The protagonist and his companion appear to be rather aloof. So I would doubt that they've actually noticed all the spies around them. Or maybe they've noticed but chose to simply forget about it.

Hmm, okay, Stat Points makes sense, too. But the dogs are magic summons, so it'd sound logical to me for them to grow stronger by absorbing MP. But, maybe the author will explain in due time which of either applies for magic crystals. :blobxd::hmm:

I could swear that they straight up stated that they knew about the spies just a few paragraphs prior.

I started reading this because I read the manga and Keigo was exactly my type. I’m really enjoying it so far.

SO WHO ELSE IS THIRSTY FOR KEIGO?!?!?!?

It feels like she needs to work on her stats if she's going to be participating in field ops.
There's a manga? I'll have to check it out.

They should probably spend a good chunk of this sale on magic crystals for the dogs. They've certainly earned it on this outing ;)

It was nice of him to warn them about the sniper, but I'm hoping we won't spend any more chapters on tracking the skill orb now that its been used. I'm more interested in other plot threads that are ongoing, or what they'll be doing next.

“Didn’t I earn 400 billion just the other day? Even if I were to play hooky for the next ten years, they couldn’t possibly have any reason to complain!” lol. She's not wrong, but still...

Really like the cover with the dogs :)

Honestly, if it weren't for all the book related stuff splattered all over it, I might make my wallpaper for a while.

Wouldn't her going into the dungeon cut her connection to any summons she left at the office?

This training camp thing feels like a really bad idea. There's only so much wealth you can show off before the knowledge of where you got it is worth more than your life.
