Have you ever started day dreaming on the middle of reading? It's weird cus I'm technically still reading, I'm staring at the phone, my thumb is still scrolling and I'm reading the words, but my brain just doesn't register them and when I get out of my daze I forgot everything I read. Does this happen to anyone else? Idk why I do it.
All the time. Sometimes about the story itself, sometimes about a different story, my life, or random skits that I never write down.
It gets pretty annoying when you wake up from your delusions and realize you're like 40 paragraphs away from where you started daydreaming
I've had moments where I was reading and suddenly woke up (either naturally after a couple of mins or by gravity's phone smash to the face), only to realise the chapter plot didn't pan out the way it did in my sleep/daze
Hm it’s more like I’m blankly reading the words but not bothering to comprehend what it means. Then I realize I’m not registering the paragraphs and have to go back to re-read. This usually happens when I’m tired
lot of time i'm really and i get distracted and when i come back to the spot i left off at realizing that I basically mindlessly scrolled through like a half a chapter before my spot, not actually consuming any information. so for the long ass sentence
I doze off imagining random stuff on my own and realize I've just been daydreaming instead of reading for like a hour lol
