It's pretty interesting,hope it won't be cliched with misunderstandings. The discription got me exclusively excited for it.

 

I read until chapter 32...
Nadia tricked by her father and half sister and murdered forcibly hanging in prison.
when she return 4 years past in time she decided not live like that again and run away from his indifferent fiancee and cruel family.
But she decided take revenge too. Run away was not enough for her.
firstly she persuade her father and king to marry with marquis glenn, lord of winterfell. Duke and Marquis was enemy for generations so with marriage she can spy on him and help her father. So her father accept.
But that not her intencion she just want to be rich and alone.
She went a ball and confess her feelings for marquis in front of everyone. In this land there was a tradition; if a noble lady with an object (i can't remember what is it) confess her feelings for a gentlemen it was... true love? I don' remember. But no one has ever been rejected with such a confession so she did too.
First she rejected. Her fist life fiancee there too and expected to confessed but unexpected one; Glenn receive the confession and confused.
"You misunderstand me with someone else perhaps." what he said.
After this Nadia start her acting like 'hopeless lovesick" like fall in love at first sight.
With king's help Glenn forcibly accept.
They went North with big dowry and have a poor wedding. All this time Nadia pretend blind with love and don't mind everyone's bad behavior.
There is Mrs Grace; Glenn's aunt. She trying to crush her but Nadia defeat.
In ceremony they had their first kiss. Glenn's really first kiss. Nadia's too. If I'm not wrong in two life too.
But sadly not emotional one...

She embarrassed and worried for first night but Glenn does not show up. And she cried all night for her role so maids could hear.
Consept; Abandoned bride in her first night.
Everyone pitied her and behave nice. She don't mind and start her work.
She check documents and saw estate's poor conditions. She want to help so she has to rise money.
Glenn and servants expect from her use dowry for help but she reject and said "not enough"
She start a business. Herb tea business. Everyone thought "She don't want to use her dowry for help to Winterfell and buy useless trash." But she remember future and use it.
And epidemic (black death) start from South and only solution this 'useless trash' aka herb tea.
She become rich in two months. Pay all depths and befriend a few merchants.
They still think as her suspicious but thank her. Glenn too. Ask her what she wants for return the favor.
For her lovesick role she ask for a hug. And they hug each other.

while they start to relief, neighbor rich count start a war.
When she see the battlefield on map she notice in her past life memories there are valuable items in this land.

And just a guess but i think in her past life her fiancee and father not tricked her. I think her half sister did because of jealousy.
Lee Jiho don't look like a bad person. Even if they are not love each other in the past, seems like they were friends. Jiho taught her many things from modern Korea.

Just some more context about the beginning, since I just started reading this! In the scene where she confessed having feelings for the Marquis, I believe she was presenting him with a laurel wreath as part of a war victory banquet, since the Marquis was a war hero. Technically it's just like a celebratory award for a knight, but culturally it was seen as a symbolic marriage proposal, if the laurel was given to the knight by a lady and he accepted it.

She knew that he couldn't really reject the laurel, since it was an award for his achievements in the war, and the other nobles that opposed him had originally been trying to prevent the celebration for him and his knights in the first place. So that was like the only recognition that he and his knights were going to get, basically. She acted all lovesick, so then the King could be like "look at this cute naive little daughter of the loyal Duke, I want to help fulfill her innocent and pure love, so I order you to marry her, and disobeying me here in public at a war celebration means I will have to suspect you of plotting a rebellion to overthrow the royal family". So eventually the Marquis had to accept.

The King was in on this plan with Nadia's father, and he is described as a fool who is easily manipulated by the Duke to side against the Marquis. Also the ex-fiance from her first life was originally plotting with her father to receive the laurel that would make the marriage agreement between the two of them like in the first life, so he would've been expecting to receive the laurel according to plan. But Nadia convinced her father to change the plan behind the ex-fiance's back, which is why he was surprised.

I know the MC isn’t there to do harm to the Marquis but I still feel bad for him. To be tricked and trapped into a marriage with an enemy family, and ontop of that being a war hero but having NO ONE recognize or thank you. He must’ve felt like sh*t in that moment during the proposal. Why are all the other nobles against him?
