Yes, but I prefer hearing a background music like lo-fi playlists on YouTube.

I sometimes get the urge to listen to music alongside, but I get too scatterbrained and end up reading the same line line over and over again, so it doesn’t work all that well with me

i used to do it like that a long time back. Nowadays i am unable to do that anymore. i do like to listen to the spotify playlist of how to get away with murder though as its just pretty moody and get ves a great feeling for epicness.
But as you say that i connect a song or singer/band with a novel. i only have that for rot & ruin with some tracks of Lumaraa (german melodic rap) Wich at that time really felt so awesome as she raps about her brother, loneliness or love and it just felt like it resonated with the novel. really a nice feeling

Only if the music doesn't have words. The words in the music easily distract me from whatever I'm reading.

Actually... If the music is in a language I don't know it can work as well. Kinda like watching anime at that point, though, lol.

I do listen to music but not when I read something for entertainment purposes (e.g., manga, novels, books).
I listen to music when I workout or do some reading for work like reading books or papers for university because it prevents me from sleeping.
It might sound strange but when reading novels or manga I listen mostly to horror podcasts\stories :p I'm not even a big fan of horror but I fell into a rabbit hole one day on YouTube and found a channel that reads stories from various sources like Reddit (mostly scary stories) and ever since then I've listened to it nonstop. In case anyone's interested I listen to all the stories from the channel Let's Read! on YouTube (his voice is soothing for me). I also have a habit of listening to\watching true crime videos like That Chapter and Bailey Sarian.

I don’t but that’s just cos usually I never noticed what song is playing when I am reading anyway, seems like a waste of power.
I tune stuffs out when focused on reading

I don't listen to music while reading, unless I'm in the mood. Which is rarely, I guess. It's just hard to concentrate.

I do however like listening to music if I'm reading something music-themed.

If I'm not listening to a text reader/audiobook, then yeah I do listen to music while reading. However I don't when I'm listening to the novel, mostly because I can't do both on my phone and well music lyrics distract me LOL
