Write your favorite novel, which you liked the most, and write how many novels you have read approximately. Since I think that if you have read 20 novels and recommend only 1 of them, then this novel will be really top-notch, and you can safely read it. For example, I have read about 50 novels, my favorite is Lord of the Mysteries. Sorry for my bad english.
Tbh, I don't know, I feel like that, there are lots of stuff I forget including animes, mangas, manhwas, manhuas, novels, movies, etc... so I can't give an approximate number, but yes, Lord of the Mysteries is a good novel XD
That's too hard to choose. I have read probably >100 novels (my reading lists contain 226, excluding the ones I never bookmarked or threw out of the reading lists, but most of the ones in my reading lists are either incomplete or I haven't read them entirely. Still, volume-wise, that'd be probably around 100+ novels anyway) A lot of them I forgot, and a lot of them just can't possibly be fairly compared against one another (vastly different genres, lengths, how long ago I read them, etc). I will sift out the genres I don't like first, regardless of the novels themselves: no harem, no xianxia. I will next sift out genres that are for an "acquired taste" (in my opinion): no tragedy, no yuri, no crime mystery, no yandere, no mc's acting in very morally questionable ways. I will next only choose "long enough stories". ... I guess I will go with devil is a part-timer. There are many like it, and of similar quality as well, but it is still an incredibly well-written novel with complex motivations and plots, awesome characters, awesome world-building, interesting premises and good prose.
Lol, I have lost count by now how many novels I have read. It's pretty complicated to pinpoint one exact novel that I will like. Often, they aren't completely translated or get ruined in the end. And even then when I have completed, there is a void that gets filled with other books and next time when I read it doesn't have the same feeling. Well,.... Er Gens Pursuit of the Truth, A Will Eternal, Renegade Immortal are good. The Gate of God is similar to A Will Eternal. ED was good too.. (at least where I stopped) They are all packed with emotions. Coiling Dragon was my first completed novel. At that time, it was amazing but now it feels... Dunno, bland.
I read the reviews for this novel, judging by the reviews, if I read it, I will get much less pleasure from other novels. So I won't read it yet.
Hokuou Kizoku to Moukinzuma no Yukiguni Karigurashi - My fav novel coz they are chill and calming to read. Overlord - My other fav as well but the author kinda ruined it in the end. Still great read imo I have read more than hundred novels (from online to real books) I enjoyed various genre except for mindless harem haha
I actually don't know my fave..hehe after reading lots of novels seems like I don't have favorite novel now.. But once upon a time I really liked "The legendary moonlight sculpture" that I keep rereading it that time even read the mtl read the translated again but then I dropped it now.
I read The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor, but dropped it because I just didn't like the character of the protagonist. But otherwise the book is really good.
I've read over 300 light/web novels. these three are my favourite: Dungeon Defense Even a Cicada Becomes a Dragon If Reborn Spice and Wolf If I include regular novels - over 1000 : (which I read at my local library) 'Song of Fire and Ice' or 'Young samurai' (I really like Animorphs when I was a kid, but I don't remember much of it now, so I'm not sure how it compares)
I do not have a count of how many I have read. As for favourite well, kind of hard to select just 1... That being said if we go a step down to arcs, my favourite arc ever is definitely Sisters from Railgun (which is a manga/anime but meh).

The Death Mage Who Doesn’t Want a Fourth Time - One of my most Loved Novel, with a rather Dark theme and rather Dark/Crazy MC who wants to be Good, but doesn't restrict any of his Crazy Acts and Abilities and use them as he deems them necessary.
