Ex : "Drink saliva first?" ( it should be one kind of a drink/water maybe) I've read a lot of novels via MTL, so maybe besides this there's something more ridiculous but I've forgotten about it
"Dow Jones Industrial Average Splitting Strike" And "Heavenly Rococo Architecture Blast" Also "Dragon flame uranium" for a fantsay metal
it should mean drink some/a mouthful of water first ꉂ(ˊᗜˋ*) though 口水 does translate to saliva hahah not the most ridiculous (can't remember) but there's this BL QT novel called the Cat King System (猫大王系统) and it translates to Elvis System turns out Elvis Presley is called Cat King (猫王) by his CN fans for his love of cats lol
“And then her hairy boobs felt off the side of her four skinny jade legs”<— I still get nightmares “Red hairy yellow monkey you dare steal my wife’s melons?” <~~~ they meant money “Mars splashed red , the scorpion wore a mask of pain and she ran with her head lopped off” <~~ I eventually learned that scorpion was for beautiful foxy women and Mars is for blood
I once read an entire mtl novel where the protagonists name wasn’t actually his name, it was a direct translation (something like “sunlight through the window” I can’t really remember) and to this day, I still don’t know what his fucking name is
OMGGG I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING BECAUSE OF THIS I can totally understand your feeling. This is why I tend to avoid serious + poetical CN historical novels. Sometimes, it's even worse than just not knowing the name. The MTL simply couldn't work and refused to translate several paragraphs
