Tales of Hearding Gods, recently picked up again with daily releases, it's a top quality unique novel with 1k chapters released already. It has maintained a 4.4 rating even after 1k chapter releases! Why? Because the reading experience is so unique. The Author's efforts at world building setup such a rich environment that seamlessly flows and enriches the story 1 arc to the next. This story is never boring and can stir your emotions.

God forbid, these novel world's really dark, Rape, slaughter, mc running away almost everytime. Good shit .
Beware of Chicken over on royal road is a fun parody but not quite parody of xianxia, it's unique in that it's more of an exploration of what it would be like for someone with a western viewpoint to be thrown into an eastern cultivation world. I say it's only kind of a parody because it doesn't lean too heavily on it and the story and characters are interesting in their own right. I've also heard good things about Forge of Destiny that's also on royal road, though I haven't gotten around to checking it out yet, I've heard it's supposed to be a more traditional xianxia.

Once Upon A Time, There Was A Spirit Sword Mountain A Xianxia that is for the most part a deconstruction of other Xianxia. It subverts a lot of normal Xianxia tropes and pokes holes into some of the plot lines that you might expect from Xianxia. It does however play some of those tropes straight. Mostly a comedy although it has its serious moments.
Forty Millenniums of Cultivation, the best xianxia you will ever read, simply a peak of quality and the best novel of civilization of cultivation along with Douluo Dalu ?, the synopsis is a bit boring in my opinion but don't be fooled by it and don't read the comments about it here, there are many spoilers
