These last couple chapters have been weird as hell...

 

IKR, if someone had an explanation, that would be awesome

 

That whole pagoda thing seem so random and out of place that I rather wish the author didn't give it to the mc in the first place.

 

I didn't picture him to be that stupid...it feels out of place

 

That's it. This novel is still funny, but I will stop reading it. The sudden changes in the MC without reason and this deus ex machina pagoda have ruined this novel to me. The MC is overly powerful, is super knowledgeable and experienced, has a lot of social skills, he can trick and manipulate sky xuan experts, he can manipulate and trick young geniuses, assassins, experts and old monsters, he can train a personal army, but he can't handle a little girl (Dugu), he can't handle a stupid fatty, he can't handle a simple sister-in-law, he can't control a lolita servant... This doesn't make any sense, even if you tell me that it is the debauchee jun mo xie's memories and soul interfering, it shouldn't make him go full potato, maybe make him a little pervert, but that's it.

 

Looks like we can't read raws anymore that sucks. Personally I love his character and don't want him a pervert. I think the Author is just isn't using him right and can't come up with good scenarios for him. I do enjoy reading about wine, military politics,ect but the story is feels so out of place and disorganize. It would had been better focused on one girl

 

I agree, the novel is disorganized. It keeps jumping in between scenes and breaking the immersion of what is happening. It only shows that the author is having trouble coming up with continuations of the previoys chapter.

I still enjoy the novel nonetheless.

 

Chapter 161 is a delaying chapter of the wine contest where it focus more on world building by telling us the ranks of the strongest in their world.

Still better than TMW delaying chapters where all they do is trash talk each other for a 3 or more chapters for a single action. I stockpile 221 chapters, but still feel like it's too soon to read, lol.

 

After breakthrough, does MC have power to fight sky realm or realm that comes after it?

and that is how they spend another chapter just hesitating about drinking the wine.
and Jun Mo Xie just got a prince drunk for several days. when the prince awakes he will be a slave to that wine.
