Crown Prince will become the king but he will remain a bitter regretful man his entire life coz he's a stupid selfish idiot and a villain imo.
I find it ironic that bookML hated what happened to his mother, spent his life getting revenge for his mother, turned into a psycho because of what happed, and in the end did the exact same thing to his "true love (MC)." He literally became his father.....
What is the MC's real identity? Who are her biological parents? It's strange that an abandoned baby can turn out to be so beautiful and attractive in appearance that she is regarded as the most beautiful princess without any good background. I'm really curious on MC's biological family background would be.
It's been so long that I don't remember but I think MC was born in a city that turned brutal war zone. Aka literally bodies littering the streets, fights in every corner etc etc. MC mom was actually pregnant but lost the child during the war. She is grieving and hears the sound of crying. Digs out MC from some rubble or something. She never tells anyone about this and all those around her are her family servants/ soldiers so they too are super loyal. So everyone assumes her baby was born safely. Tbh MC Mom clan is SUPER FUCKING GOOD. Even MC Mom has never wished anything but good blessings for MC. She literally raised MC like her bio daughter and even when she went crazy from poison, she never forgot that MC is her child. Like never ever ever. MC Mom's brothers seem to know about this but they love MC Mom and MC and MC Bro just so damn much. What little snippets we get about them is so fucking good and wholesome that it makes the emperor's actions even more horrific. And ofcourse the crown prince or book!ML too. But MC is mostly born of nobility. They were either killed defending the city or ran away. I think they were killed defending the city. But I don't remember this much so take it with a grain of salt. Maybe someone else can give more info?
What happened to Xie Qing (mc's bodyguard/escort)??? I know it won't happen, but I kinda dig the princess×knight vibe going on. I like their interactions so far (I'm on chapter 66 btw). I'm curious if something's gonna happen to him.
