Hey, so I read somewhere that the identity reveal is somewhere near ch.2500. It was before the hiatus so it has been a while. I stopped reading because I didn’t want such a cliffhanger, and I remembered just now that I can finally start reading it again as it is already updated to ch.2900 something! So does any of you know if there really has been a reveal? If yes, which chapter?

I do not remember a big identity reveal. The people in his guild knew about black flame for a long time as did the leaders of the major guilds but I don't recall if Black Flame's identity was announced to the world. The novel is over at 2918 chapters so there is no more cliffs for you to worry about.
