By chapter 20 - original ML will rescue Diana.
Chapter 96- Marriage between Diana and Crazy Duke.
There is secret about Diana's birth... (I guess because she has black hair.)

 

Any additional spoilers?

Things I'm most curious about:

1. So it sounds like her dad actually tried to kill MC? Why?
2. Do they meet again?
3. What's going on with OGFL?

 

I didnt read that far yet. FL was a loner. In her past life, her parents died when she was 12 and left her a hugh insurance money and property. So her relatives tried to leech on her so did all the men around her. She lived in her own world and scare to be closed to anyone. She didnt trust anyone.

While she was kidnapped, her dad sent mercenaries to kill her but the duke saved her. The duke knew that that she was badly treated at home. The duke found her to be interesting since FL was expressionless and didnt seem to want anything from him. By chapter 10, ML said he wanted her body and FL said No, you couldn't since they were not married. So ML said we could get marriage. FL thought he was joking....ML took her on a date in town and later took her to his mansion. He told all the servants that she would be soon to be his wife. So the butler said he would prepare the single bedroom. FL screamed "No."

This scene was very funny. ML kept teasing FL about she attacked him first.
FYI- Celine did have a black heart. She was the one torturing her sister. But she agreed to let OrgMl to go and resQ her sister. If the resQ mission success, orgML would be a duke and she could be his Duchess.

 

Spoiler: spoiler1 - a bit of C15 - ML tried to seduce/tease FL.

Diana told Noah....
“… … Next Tuesday, I decided to go to a hot spring with the noble wives. The hot spring water of Blanche is famous for its excellent skin care, how about going with Parsene?”

It would be no different here. It is probably a place where couples or lovers go mostly. As the thought crossed his mind, his face lit up. I bit my mouth as a huge thought came to my mind.
“Why is your face red? It’s silly.”

Because when FL was kidnapped, the dad refused to negotiate. So the public opinions were condemn him as heartless. So he sent someone to kill her.
OrgFl (Celine) was a villain.

Spoiler: Spoiler2- Celine

She was jealous of her sister. Later on she was rejected by Jeffrey ( orgML liked Diana.) So she stole Diana's diamond necklace which was giving by Noah. Diana went berserk to Celine to try to get the necklace back. Celine made up a rumor that Diana was a spy so Dian was arrested and stayed in a prison.

My observation of the novel ( I am at chapter 35) was fast paced and not much of narrative. The writer focused a lot of conversation and actions of characters. It 's also dramatic.. Fluffs started quite early chapter 4- 19. I was smiling reading these chapters. Diana's hardship started again when she went back to her house.....Poor girl.

 

Oh thank you! So she's been returned by chapter 35? Sounds like a terrible situation for MC to be honest...

 

OMG.. The story is super dramatic.

Spoiler: Spoiler3 - C 33-34

ML and FL became the deserter and the fugitive because he rescued Diana from prison. Frogen Emperor wanted the duke properties since the duke owned the steel mine and artillery factory, automobile factory etc. He declared the duke as deserter. Before the duke left, he blew up his factory as the warning to the emperor. ( meaning he could blow up the imperial palace if he wanted to.) He took all the know how with him.
When they were safe, Noah told Diana that he was no longer a duke and no money. Diana said she was Ok with that. She wanted the ordinary life. She also said they should start from zero and no more lies between them. Noah said lets hold off the marriage until he became wealthy again. ( Actually he lied to her. He still had a lot of money.)

ML was a crazy man. He is not going to change the king of chess board, he's going to break the chessboard altogether.

*** There was war between Belford and Frogen. Medea was Frogen ally country but there was no war betwen Belford and Medea. Belford were losing the war days by days. Noah was pissed at his emperor because the emperor had been sending him to front line trying to get him killed so the emperor could take his properties.

After I read these chapters I felt like killing the FL dad. He was the worst ever kind of human being.

Spoiler: Spoiler4 - Shitty dad

FL and ML fled to Medea. (Medea was a ally country of Frogen. Medea are the united kingdom and governed by the queen. Medea people had black hair.) A few years back, when the queen of Medea was a young princess, she was pregnant with the marriage Belford man. So she came to Noah's house and stayed with them. So Noah at 7 year old was closed to her. The princess at that time broke up with the FL' dad and gave birth due to the law of Medea that King/Queen of Medea couldn't marry any foreigner. Her parents and brother was terminally ill at that time so she got no choice but took the throne. When the queen was at Noah's house, Noah promised her that he would protect this baby.

Back to present time, Celine went to Jeffrey house and told him that Diana escaped with Noah and went to Medea. They turned back against their countries because of their greed. So Belford should punnish them by asking Medea to return them. Then Jeffrey told her the truth.
(MTL - pronounces always mess up.)
The lieutenant colonel, who was looking at her hardened face, asked.
"Do you trust your father?" "I think you understand why I discriminated against Diana and was generous."
"Yes, I understand." She believes that her mother died because of Diana and is resentful. My father regarded Diana as the devil who trampled on our happiness. In fact, he acted like a devil to me. I used you to play a trick on me.”
"That's amazing."
Lieutenant Colonel laughed out loud. It was the gaze of the audience watching a funny skit.
"I know why. It's not completely different, but it's completely wrong. I think you're expecting it, so I'll tell you everything."
"What?"
Celine asks as if she didn't know. The middle of Lieutenant Colonel's forehead, which swept over his black hair, was hollowed out.

**** FL dad was a marriage man. He made the 17 year old princess pregnant. He planned to abandon his wife and daughter to marry the princess and later on found out that he couldnt marry her due to the Medea law. He told everyone that his wife died because of Diana but he was likely the one killing his wife due to his evil deed. He brought up his own daughter Diana in poor environment and later sent assassin to kill his daughter.*****

 

Omg what a shitty character, he doesnt deserve his title of dad nor his military status, just urgh...
Btw thank you so much for the spoiler, this story is super depressing for fl, i hope you can spoil us until the end and i hope the fl and ml can get their desired happiness..
Can't wait to see the fall of all despicable characters.....

 

At Chapter 70 not much going on. Calm period I skipped the fluffy stuff, you can read when they were translated.

ML and FL settled in Medea. ML was award the title of a count. Queen asked FL to stay at the palace. There was no explicit information if FL was the queen's child or not. People knew that the Queen liked Diana. (Diana has the Medea royalty look of darkest black hair and very pale skin. )Princess Erita who was the daughter of the queen was in love with ML. She had been pursuing him madly. She helped Jeffrey rescued Diana from Frogen last time by throwing herself down the stairs so the ML was distracted. She was delusional still and thought ML liked her. Princess Erita was scared of her mom so she didnt do any bad to the FL yet.
While Diana was in the palace she met a kid Daniel who thought she was his mom because they looked alike. He was the Duke of Hessen son. His mom just passed away last year. Once the duke saw Diana, he also liked Diana because he loved his wife so much. Noah was a bit pissed with the situation and very jealous. (Noah was jealous of pudding because Diana loved to eat puddings!!!)

Emperor of Frogen decided to cease fire with Belford. He was now thinking of the war with Medea since he got the reason now. Medea decided not to send ML back to Frogen per the Frogen's emperor request. ( You can think of Medea = UK because it is united kingdom country.)
Diana became close with Daniel. So Princess Erita used Daniel to kidnapped Diana.

I am a bit annoyed with Diana. The more I read the more she became unattractive. ( more stupid and acted like damsel in distress. ) Noah on the other hand was crazily interesting to the point that why did he like someone like Diana. I might take a pause a bit.
