As the title implies do you prefer to read in Dark mode or Light mode? Or what colour mode do you like to read in? I personally prefer a light grey dark mode the best.
Brain is made to focus on the bright things, therefore dark mode with light-gray or white text. Reading for hours with light mode gives me migraines.
I like a papery yellow background the most in general, though it kinda depends what site. For example, I can't stand the dark mode on NUF, so I always use light mode, but on Discord the light mode is just plain awful so I only use dark mode there.
For reading, it's definitely light mode! Since it;s most like a real life paper. For everything else, I would prefer dark mode... but actually I still use light mode for most things cause some websites/programs/apps don't have a good dark mode and the only thing worse than using light mode is constantly changing between light mode and dark mode, really hurts my eyes -_-

Dark mode, I even got forced dark mode on chrome. But I sometimes turn it off when some sites have weird reaction to dark mode. I'm fine with light mode but reading for so long is tiring for me.
Dark Mode supremacy. Flat Awesome Dark (Red) on NUF represent. Most light modes are just obnoxiously bright to me. It's not so bad for pdfs but if i can only find light mode pdfs, i'll just tinker with Acrobat DC's color settings to flip everything dark mode style.
I prefer reading in dark mode, I find it much easier to concentrate on reading and it doesn't hurt my eyes
Dark mode all the way. Though, I never read novels on websites without Reader View activated anyway; and a pox on all the sites that screw with that mode.
I use the normal settings during the day and use my browser's night mode on mobile to read during the night if I've turned the other lights off.
Dark mode 100% Anyone who uses white mode is a heathen. That being said I have been switching up and using white mode once in a while for coding
I prefer light mode on mac, dark mode (Nord theme) for Linux I use light mode cause IMO dark mode doesn't look that appealing in macs, and a lot of the apps that I use supports the `ayu light` theme so
Dark mode at night is not really a thing for me. Personally, I'd just go with black texts and white mode lol ~~ it's classic~
