Question Why is Wecomics ending all its BL?

So shout out to all translators of Wecomics. Thank you so much for your hard work I really enjoyed your work. I have follow this app since it first came to be and loved all of its work,mainly BL of course. So i am wondering why are all of the BL on Wecomics ending when most are still on going?does anyone know why wecomics is dropping thier bl?

 

I have no idea. If I had to make a guess it would be due to lack of translators or something with censorship with the parent company. Those are the usual culprits.

 

It isn't just their BL. It's also most of their manhuas. I wish I knew what was going on. I am also very sad that they stopped posting my two favorite BL's.

 

BL-wise, it's likely due to new super heavy CCP censorship push on BL and 'effeminate men'

 

But isnt that obly in china?how would that affect us?

 

well, any webcomics made from within china would either be canned by their creators or radically altered to try and fit within the new censorship.

Wecomics, according to a quick google search, is owned by Tencent. so, being a chinese company, what they do to follow chinese laws and CCP directive will obviously effect their offerings even outside of china.

 

If it's owned by a Chinese company, they will have to comply with the CCP.

 

Does anyone have a list of the comics that are ending?
