    How about Winnie-the-Pooh?
It's not violent, vulgar or pornographic - unless you count the fact that none of the animals wear pants, but I'm sure that the studio would be happy to edit it for china

Impossible, because Xi Jinping is the greatest role model for people that don't want to start going to the gym or exercise : Instead of starting a diet and working on a sport regimen to stop being compared to a sympathetic tubby bear, he decided to put his autocratic power to bear by banning the cartoon character from China...

What an inspirational move for all the overweight lazy bones around the world !

Or maybe it's the sympathetic side of the character that bothered him so much ?

About the original post, seems like the Chinese authorities are working very hard to curb any chance that China has to get its own version of an Hallyu wave by destroying media companies and any imaginative media content...

wonder how this'll weigh on chinese studios doing contracting for JP anime studios. the common sense thing would be it's fine as long as not broadcast in china.
The CCP, however, is not known for it's common sense.

Gives the children a false idea about animals talking and the possibility of flying, promotes stealing honey and breaking into the houses of others. So I'm against this vile cartoon, comrades

I find that regrettable. This is the one place where they could apply their creativity but that is also being clamped down on. Their higher-ups only want a nation of zombies to do their bidding, I guess!
