Does anyone have any recommendation for a entertainment novel where the mc actually works hard to achieve things rather than the ml literally paving the path for him and handing opportunities on a golden plater? - Like ones where the mc starts from bottom up to stardom.

Pretty realistic and informative. Great At Acting, Now I’m Reborn - MC was reborn so his acting skill was honed in the last life. But he later makes a breakthrough in this life, further improving his acting. King of Classical Music - MC was reborn and works hard from the bottom. ML watches over him and sometimes want to help him but MC is talented so he gets those resources even before ML ask for it.
