Discussion Christmas is cancer

So guys I'm in target and there already selling Christmas stuff,
They start selling up earlier and earlier every year like is a cancerous growth threatening every other holiday and im scared it'll get to the point that it'll be the only holiday remaining.

I swear if I see kids trick or treating as Santa I'm gonna drop bricks on their feet

 

And child that trick or treats as Santa only gets Christmas themed candy

 

I can understand that, and I'm pretty certain they've advertised stuff for Christmas even earlier. But just like most holidays they've been distorted into utterly disgusting commercialized versions of themselves, just like how I'm now seeing people talk about celebrating the entire month for Halloween as well.

only good thing to come out of the lockdown was they stopped selling Xmas stuff in August ...

 

I know what you mean, my grandmother died from Christmas last winter. It started out as just a few ornaments, a tree, some lights. By the end, she was taking down eggnog like it was water. Her blood had the highest nutmeg concentration ever seen by her doctor. The stockings? Yeah, you bet your ass they hung on the mantle. A large candy cane was seen sticking out the tops. It was tragic.

 

Ive worked retail during the holidays before. I wholeheartedly agree with you. The government should step in and make Christmas advertising and putting out Christmas goods illegal until after Dec 1st. Punishable by being strung up with tinsel and beaten with Christmas lights.

 

Well, considering Santa Claus is a muscular man that no one can fight against except for catgirls, it is an obvious conclusion.

just like online shop sites with their funny catchy number promoting sale and stuff then some people just follow the trend be it active on such activity, involve on promoting it or just enjoy the hmm situation~
